I am not available to run the Top Gun event this week as I am busy on Tuesday.
I do, however have Thursday free and so I will run the event that night if no other Event Manager is available.
Thursday night is Big Race night, so that is what I shall run.
The race will start from Planet X at 21:00 server time. Please arrive by 20:45.

I don't know about the Death Valley datadisk, I have not seen any info on it, maybe it was there in an earlier version of CF.
I followed the quest from the datadisk in Nephele and that did lead me (eventually) to Altair.

One reason that disks get fragmented is due to the SWAP file and the fact that Windows can vary the size of this. It starts at one size and if the PC needs more, it can be enlarged. When you restart your computer, the SWAP file returns to its original, minimal size and frees up the HD space it was using. This causes fragmentation of the hard drive. If HD space is not an issue, then stop Windows from bing able to change its SWAP file size, just set it to the maximum values.

Sorry to say that for the second week running I will be unable to run the Top Gun event. Work's a bitch at times but it pays the bills.

I like this idea, though I am intrested in seeing how it plays out. I presume that NY cannot be destroyed or there will be no new players for a week. Blast Sol and nobody can get to Altair for a while (& SFP might start feeling home sick). Blow-up X and there will be no events for a week unless you have a ship stationed in X. That said, I trust OP to have a plan for all these things and look forward to investing $4billion and picking a system
