    but i agree with Forlon. look for players with clan tags before their name. they'll look like [CFPD], [BG], {LP}, (SA), {FI} or something of similar nature. these players know the rules decently well and usually are more than happy to help explain rules about role-playing or even help you in starting some role-play. Gunny, Maruader, or Forlon are good people to assist with that kind of thing.

    overall, the US needs to keep it's fat noses out of other countries business and attempt to fix ours before hand (but that's another topic entirely)


    more specifically, should Israel decide to launch nukes at syria, who YOU say got nukes from Saddam, but keep in mind, Saddam got the nukes from us (Americans) during Bush Sr Administration to combat the Russians (if memory serves correctly...), should israel decide to nuke Syria, yes it will be over the line, yes, Russia and China will most likely involve themselves in Syria in some fashion (arms or personnel) and because we americans have itchy trigger fingers will get ourselves involved in some fashion (probably aiding Israel in some fashion) and, because i'm foreshadowing all of this, Russian/US/Chinese relations won't be too friendly after that


    but thats only a predicition if Israel decides to nuke Syria


    i'm more interested on what will happen on the home front. the media said we went into Afghanistan and Iraq looking for WMDs (that may i remind WE gave them...) as well as to start a war on terror (fuck knows why we went into Afghanistan), look for Osama bin laden, Saddam Hussein blah blah blah, when i feel the real reason was to go in and take control of and protect foreign assets (i.e Oil) just to make sure they don't do something stupid with them (if that's the case, i sure don't know). who knows what the media will propogandize Americans with to make it seem like we're doing justice and spreading democracy (which i don't even know why we both with that over seas..let their nation run their nation however the hell they want) and all that Uncle Sam/'Merica stuff

    the best RP can come from very spontaneous moments.


    and currently, 4 people in X just killing each other and gawd knows what else is going on the rest of the server.


    if we took PvP away entirely, a huge number of players will leave. should we limit the PvP some how AND have the GR's on more consistently to enforce it, the server won't be as boring to play on.


    the problem is that with organization, there needs to be someone who's willing to step up to organize said events. it used to be that there was a different EM for every event. i would step up if i had more consistent internet connection instead of bumming off people's wifi. besides that, a number of people have real life issues and problems. young people like me with nothing but time would be best for these sort of things...


    and i was on the server...except everyone is dinking around in X...therefore boring..i'll jump back on though

    Due the amount of space piracy, Focks Industries is making the following changes:


    - All Focks Industries( {FI} ) employees are currently being trained in Law Enforcement tactics and practices
    - {FI} is now a law enforcement agency and is tasked with keeping the peace in the Sirius and Altair Sector's
    - {FI} has a ZERO TOLERENCE for space piracy and will open fire on any pilot possessing a pirate license without warning


    {FI} is also starting to issue fee's, fines and penalties for the following offenses:
    - Speeding and wreckless flying (maximum $500k fine)
    - Drinking and Flying (Maximum $1 Million)
    - Taxing players (Shoot on Sight)
    - Smuggling ($250k Fine and confiscation of goods)
    - Mindless PvP (Shoot on Sight)


    It seems Piracy is running amok and {FI} cannot make a profit if rats are disrupting daily operations. Be warned pirates...i will come for you

    it's funny how the Horse guys (redhorse, whitehorse, blackhorse) have the same weapons, but they can't drain my entire shields with just a short burst of fire such as the aforementioned players did. considering their location and their more than probable shotty inet connection, it made it very difficult to hit them (rubberbanding n all) the Horse guys just spam missiles


    i for one do not like to see some random players blow the ever livin' shit out of another for no reason. doesn't matter if they're pirate or not. a good player won't reload or dock rape. Gunny want's to RP. I want to RP like Gunny does. but neither of us can do that if all we see is taxing and mindless pvp...

    when in doubt, undock your battleship and chase them off because apparently "it's not fair against a battleship"


    i know plenty of people who kill me before them when i'm sitting in a capital ship and all they have is a Cayman...
