I wish to mention a subject which i raised once before, and wonder if it could be looked at again. Really good ships that have only rear firing turrents. Some with low armour ratings. I don,t know any player the flys,while firing to his rear in battle. Happy to be corrected if there is. Thinking mirage,griffin and a few others. Wonder if they could be made to fire 360 deg like the rest.

On the point of start of money for newbie,s. Could this be raised to an amount to give them more incentive. More of a chance in game. I truely believe this is where we gain or loose a lot of new players. In play and interest to return. !!!

The thing that stands out to me over the years is, its still here! its still in the top ten! and you see players old and new keep coming back! Thing that amazes me, that also,players feel the need to post Negative remarks all the time. But they, themselves keep returning. The remarks there not coming back the games old and so on. Then simply leave thats your right and not forced to come here. The fact a lot come here cause they choose to and enjoy it. The other thing that makes me chuckle is its old and boring yet i,m in game daily and there is new players everyday. Depends on the timezone too. Keep up the great work team we appreciate it. ( well most of us )

Bit puzzled. I opened the Swat Portal today, and checked the news heading next to forum. It indicates one post so i opened it. A strange page opened with a list of headings. This domain has just been registered. Then 10 subheadings, and one of them is SECURE INMATE PHONE CALLS ???. As the last one. Why would crossfire have any doings with prisoner phone calls. This has never come up before.I realize Op has mentioned movements to the new server for the completion of the big upgrade. But again what do,s prisoners got to do with it. Not being a tech geek tried to screen shot but failed.

I was not going to way in on this subject but is getting out of hand. Players with mixed reactions always get of topic. One thing always puzzles me. Why do players feel the need to come on here and continously want to compare it with discovery. Like all mods, they have there own different idea,s of the game. Simply if thats possible. If they like discovery so much then stay there and enjoy.Players here in crossfire enjoy it and thats why we are here. Why come here and bitch because we are not doing the same. we are not interested. But the need to threaten creator or staff or players is definately not needed. Its also of humour they keep saying there leaving as the mod won,t bow to there demands nor should it. well leave. How hard is that. Arena has two options. shut it all together or make it like the rest of the systems open season. Again all mods have rules/guidelines for a better term. again don,t like it don,t come here. As for certain players saying the people are demanding change. Well i,m not seeing where its the right to demand anything. Strange they are saying the people, when all i see is a couple of trouble makers, as always. Out to cause trouble and the poeple/players seem not to share your views by making it in the top ten. Thats where people are putting there majority views. For the record. There is majority that appreciates the work done in creating this mod called crossfire. Thats why were here everyday. Since the new upgrade i have eratic behavour, especially when facing a large group of npc,s, good and bad fighting each other. I have checked my drivers and the graphics card with no faults found by the card makers. When i move away from that group all settles down till i come across the next group and it suddenly starts again. When i attack or be attacked by red npc,s,when the fights starts ok. Then it suddenly becomes eratic again. As soon as all is destroyed it stops back to normal. Possibly massive lag during fighting but suddenly stop and not getting any lag any other times ???. A player can definately see a big difference in game. The quick launcher loading is great. Well done Op appreciated.

I wonder if this has not got of the subject. Like anything in game, right from the start. They are the guidelines set by the mods creator for reasons. We all have followed those while playing. some fully understand the rules and those who choose not to. This leads usually to one outcome. To my belief, if players wish to argue about freedom, then straight out. No one is forced to enter the game. I,m honestly not sure why the word freedom is coming in to the subject considering it a game for enjoyment and fun. like all games, which have guidelines.

in game a lot of the time yesterday with things as normal. file update was back to 72. admitedly i did look in sp to see if that was working which it was. but in the end i decided to wait too see what happens. and so it went back to normal. all good thanks op.

thanks op it comes to mind in your mention of no work on the server. i did remember that normally it downloads for me 72 files each time. but maybe in my case maybe other too. it downloaded 79. again as normal, i put it down too work being added. if thats not the case as you indicated op. then the mystery is what was the extra 6 files. and who added it too the server update. i have been under the impression only op or the team can. ????

yeah it seems strange as i said as i have had no problems till now. after reading this i just tried the launcher and its back. lets see what happens. thanks all.

hi, something has just started and unclear why. i,m in game regularly and for some reason when clicking on my desktop icon which is run under admin. there is a delay and i get this error code on the updater screen saying. update server not available [E000000AA]. when this last appeared two days ago i posted on discord is the server down and op replied "no". i did not go in game till the next day without any problems. shut down for sleep last night and this morning went to log on and its doing it again.

I,ve been playing since 2007. I have yet to get bored in finding something to do in game. I have found that at the time of an incident things get out of hand, real quick. Both sides are right when it happens. No one is ever wrong. (generally speaking and of no reference to any one incident ok. ). But tomorrow is another day. Its over with. As mentioned many times its a game. to enjoy and have fun !!!. If there is a part that a player do,s not like, just like in life, then don,t play it or do it. But leave behind this need to write nasty and unproductive posts. t\Thats one person opinion not everyones.

Everything is there for a player to do. as i just saw mentioned by op. and it is. All i can say is look at its time on the server and in the top 10 each year, Would to me speak for itself. Some of us have huge appreciation to the creator and the team.

first impressions means they will try it or not. i don,t think changing version numbers each time something is updated will entice them to play either. i respect the mod owner and the team know what they want the mod to do and where it is heading as they always have. i,m sure we are all aware it is an old game but doing pretty darn good to have creative mod like crossfire added to it and be still in the top ten its important to remember that we all have r/l and its a game that more importantly is played over many timezones. suggestions are always welcome but sometimes its not possible.

if i remember correctly the post said has not this subject gone far enough and maybe has been answered by op. gagging might be meaning something different where you are. at times, players tend to get of the subject at times. what sir you consider is irrelevant. all the years i have been here the ragnorak has been known as a admin ship. and justifieable so. has clearly been shown that in forum its role in play. correct me if i,m wrong knowledged one. how much clearer is that. enjoy your strawberries.
