About a lil bug which was noticed before
Oh... sorry.
I did not see it reported anywhere around, that's why I reported it.
My bad then.

Ahhh yes, I have noticed this as well...
When giving out money to a new character, despite level being increased,
it was not recognized right away to purshase a ship and needed to relog to have level restriction removed.
Anyway, good work Faaby! I know you, Forlon and some other SA personnel have been working hard mapping systems and gathering info, I know you guys are happy to finally seeing the end of the tunnel and are almost finished.

hehe yes, this database has been a huge work... and I am glad to see it is online now!
Very self rewarding!
While mapping system Neophobos, I ran into some debris close to Planet Southport.
When pointing my reticule on it the tag "police base" showed up (green reticule for me) but I
was not able to select anything... By curiosity I shot at those debris and it immediately became
red, this time the tag showing Pollux Battleship (?) under "Police base" tag.
I then targeted Pollux Battleship (80K away) and it also conned red to me...
Joining some pictures to try to make explanation clearer
About docking on Battleships:
What would happen though if BS is destroyed?
Can a docked player - assuming like in a docked station - be killed in same time (what about respawn point?) or forced to undock?
or change system if the BS does?
Yeah. Imagine smuggling, and the cop sees you from across the system. Yay.
But that cop would not have much offensive power by himself to disrupt smugglers, so would need backup.
And seeing does not mean catching
Anyway, since it is not possible, no need to start a debate...
Some hypergates are only one way!
If you get lost, you can find some maps here in the download section
Good exploring in any case!
Well, I think farmers alliance shows only "Alliance" in tag name... Close enough for me to ASF
Unless I want to risk messing up all my factions to give another try LOL
Happy Holidays to all from SA_FAABY!
I gave a try to your advice Your_Uncle, and this is starting to get epic!
By killing current affiliation to neutral, I came to:
Navy > Bretonia Armed Forces > Corsair (what the?) > ALG waste disposal > Farmer (that's when I knew I had to take a break! *sigh*)
Looks very interesting to me StephanoV
Like a ship class similar to those radar airships
Would be very usefull tactically in engagements indeed
I crashed twice to desktop during ASF/CSF, right when clicking on "respawn" button after dying... never happened to me before.
I had very bad ping at that moment though, so maybe it is related...
[edit: a 3rd time it worked, though the message "please wait, this operation is taking longer than expected, use ESC to cancel" showed up
for a few seconds]
I have been trying for a while now to obtain the "ASF" affiliation on my character,
but either I am doing something wrong, either I do not get how it works...
I was "Navy" with ASF being in second position (maxed), so I thought by killing a few
navy guys, ASF would take over the first position
Reputation of navy was decreasing but would not lower down... I was told to try to kill
some more as the affiliation seems to need to go down 3 or 4 bars before being switched.
I tried it, and I did lose Navy affiliation, but it was replaced by "Kusari Nany" ( that came from nowhere???).
To see what would happen, I killed a few Kusari police to get rid of this affiliation, and in the end it
was replaced by.... Navy (which was way down the list after this mess) *sigh*
Back to square one... (and ASF faction still remains on 2nd... and I must have killed like 2,000 CSF by now)
You guys have any trick to obtain the affiliation of your choice?
Thanks
All countries spy and lie, this is the "diplomatic" hypocrite game...
So there is nothing really surprising about digging out "durty" notes.
What I find interesting is what a country can call a secret "national security" document though:
Something to protect citizens, army, spys, etc... or rather to protect just a few top "heads"?
Taking for granted official sources is being "blind" and other sources are needed if truth
is wanted.
Sometimes official explanations do not make sense (or they really take us for idiots),
and that's when citizens start asking questions, involving dangerous answers.
When it is unclear, you just need to find other ways (sadly classic medias cannot be trusted either nowadays)
I was wondering if it would not be interesting to see if any possibility to increase the number of mining areas (maybe open it in Altair, or
even IC to make it more "interesting" and "spicy").
I do not think mining is used much currently, and I think it is too bad it is not "rentable" enough to be an alternate choice to trading...
Maybe try to check for those weapons at Planet Issos in Arena system?
