    SA_FRAISE - promotion to Ensign



    SAC is proud that can announced that our newest member crewman Petite Mokoto (SA_FRAISE) on Thursday the 9th of September 2010 successfully passed Fire Trial and fulfilled all needed requirements for achieving her new rank Ensign.
    Trial was held under command Lieutenant Vox and she was very pleased with Ensign Petite Mokoto flying and fighting performance.

    Lieutenant Elodie Vox trial comments: "She did very well during this trial, never seeing a scratch on her ship, and showed some great fighting skills. Thus, I am officially recommending her promotion as Ensign as soon as possible."

    Captain Martind Forlon said: "It is very good when our young people shows talents and with own hard work achieve success. This way our clan grow is stronger and we have better chances to defend people of Sirius against hostile aliens. Ensign Mokoto exemplary approach is good sign for future."

    Sea of Shadows system, small logical bug in Apollo wreck (f/4 sector) note

    Only question/suggestion: Is possible that on server is set randomly chosen number and this number is send to players via launcher when they start FL. When they log to server, is there check. When server reboot, this number is changed. Result is that ppl with wrong (old) number cannot log. And system will need check only this one number.

    If there is high chance that problem is some corrupted installation, then as best looks to me release 1.82 as full download.

    About X system: the same as reported Petite, it is only one system, where I had real PC performance/lag issues when there was more ppl on-line.

    Hmm ..i see just after server restart few ppl online immediately ... can be prob in this that ppl not wait until is server back on-line? => they can restart all the time, but if it this before is server back? ... is this the same as if not restart game?

    Suggestion: Pls if it possible: Try ensure that in case when isn't possible event held -> write at least info here at portal why was this not possible (RL can always do some surprises). In last times were more announced events which have not been started (EM not logged) and no info why (at least short apologies). And best is duplication EM for any event (or at least second player who can give info that event will be not).

    19_08_2010 20:40 crossfire time: SAOC (Silver Arrows Operations Center) received request for support in Inner Core from DC_Crysis. Standard emergency procedures were applied.SA gate personnel hurried to battle stations and hyper gate was prepared for emergency transit. Shortly after that near gate from shadows emerged BS_Nike (Osiris class battleship) which were at patrol in Omega-3 system. On bridge Captain Martind Forlon speaking to crew "We have here emergency situation. Prepare for transit to Inner Core, all crew to battle stations, this is not exercises, i repeat ...". Short messages with last tactical info were send from SAOC to SA_Nike and then mighty battleship entered hyper gate a disappeared from Sirius space. Several seconds after she appeared in Inner Core near black hole. Whole ship's crew was few seconds shocked after jump, but ship systems were preprogammed and ship's computers quickly relocated battleship away from dangerous Black hole. Simultaneously was started system scan and on bridge arrived message from DC_Crysis "Glad, that you are here, you have good time, my ship is waiting near Venn gate".

    19_08_2010 21:00 crossfire time: SA_Nike arrived to Venn gate and meet there VHF Saracen piloted by DC_Crysis. After short agreement both ship entered Venn system. Short meeting via sub-light communication were arranged. Captain Forlon speaking: "We just received message from HaggisfudgeX(LP) about joining us, will we wait for him? "Sure, we give him few minutes" replied DC_Crysis. Fifteen minutes passed, and two ships still waited alone in hostile space. "We need to move captain" said DC_Crysis "my ships long range scans showed possible enemy signatures.". "OK, lets go, we cannot wait more" was response from Captain Forlon. From SA_Nike were sent newest informations to HaggisfudgeX(LP) with warnings about possible enemy forces near Venn system gate. After that both ships entered to formation and moved at cruise speed through asteroid field to Jormdar gate.

    19_08_2010 21:23 crossfire time: We slipped past hostile Dom'Razak base and arrived to Jormdar gate. So far was travel safe, we successfully avoided all enemy light patrols. We entered Jormdar and received message from freelancer Mellon. Mellon speaking "Hello, I'm just received Dom'Kavash message from Mittrak Battle Station in Weth system that someone tried go through hostile zone. I quickly decided that I can help. My fully equipped basilisk VHF is ready to go and can join you in Mepther system if you need support ". DC_Crysis speaking "You are welcome, another fighter is always handy in those dangerous systems. We can wait for you in Mepther system near Jormdar gate". This decision was very wise as we soon after that learned. Near Mepther gate our luck ended. We were stopped by enemy heavy fighter patrol and we had no other chance than fight for our lives. After short but very violent fight we destroyed all enemies, but SA_Nike was heavily damaged. We entered Mepther and waited for Mellon arrival. Battleship shields slowly restored and our scans showed "green contact" Mellon ship.

    19_08_2010 21:44 crossfire time: MEPTHER SYSTEM. On board SA_Nike: Fires on deck was successfully extinguished. Ship crew did miracles, all main systems were repaired and ship was able continue. Two more hostile systems remained. DC_Crysis and Mellon fighters created a defensive formation and all ships started theirs cruise engines. DC_Crysis speaking "Captain Forlon, your ship is heavily damaged and if we were stopped by enemies, you have greater chances if you will not fight and will continue to next system". "Thx for this offer" replied Captain Forlon"this is very generous from you and I this help will never forget". In Mepther was then one fight with enemy patrol, but BS_Nike successfully escaped and all ships joined together in last hostile system Ryssk.

    19_08_2010 21:53 crossfire time: RYSSK System. Last step in our journey (... we all thought that it is last dangerous system and it was almost fatal mistake). We were able flew very quickly through this system and on board SA_Nike crew almost began celebrating. In this system we met only few enemy battleship group and they were not able to stop us. Last gate to safe haven Weth before us. Battleship slowly entered jump gate and appeared in Weth system.

    19_08_2010 21:53 crossfire time: WETH System. Suddenly red light in ships corridors shows up and whole ships shakes in heavy enemy fire. Enemies showed theirs last trick and jumped to Weth system in suicide raid. Battleships shields went down and last piece of armor remains ... when suddenly was silence and hull of the ship stopped to shake. Even 3 warriors gunboats were not enough fast and allied DomKavash Defence Stations killed them all just in time.

    We learned this day few good lessons and were lucky and survived. SAOC received good news from Weth system and SA_Nike was prepared to return journey to Sirius .... but this is another story :)

    Inner Cloud system: the most southern field (Poseidon Field) ... appearance, info and voice is about minefield but in real it is only field full of small asteroids. NO mines found. Ouranos Field: description and appearance is about minefield, no mines found, there is only radiation hazard.

    Maybe small logical bug in Omega-11. Info for Solarius Station is:
