    Hello,
I was long awaiting for this movie and went to the cinema on the first week it was shown.

    My personal likes/dislikes (+/-) were:
    + characters
+ graphics! (worth seeing on a big screen indeed)
    + space opera feeling
    - too many jokes everywhere
    - unconvincing villains
    - absence of deep moral

Overall I think it's worth seeing if you are fond of space operas and pay attention to visual effects; however if you hope to have an experience similar to Marvel's other comic/superhero movies (X-men, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America series or The Avengers), it is nothing like them. In this sense Guardians are the most original Marvel movie so far.

Hope this helps you make a decision.

Uhm... Do you play the original Freelancer, or Freelancer + Crossfire 1.9? / Spielen Sie der normal Freelancer, oder Freelancer mit Crossfire 1.9?

    Hello Nuddl and welcome here,
your version is correct (1.9), but there is a technical problem with CF server at the moment, please check this thread http://www.swat-portal.com/php…page=Thread&postID=360262

German (uh, this will be fun!):

    Hello WraithSkeller,
unfortunately there is no way to buy miner turrets separately, so the only solution for you is to get a new miner :( (or load previous saved game if it happened in SP)

about the rest... ive completely lost track of what you are discussing and why everything starts to be such a massive problem here.

We were discussing Huor's last two posts and offering corrections to the presets he posted :)

Thanks, have seen it before - nothing about smuggling there, only the fact that they like Hogosha ?(
LSF don't have any ships in space, do they? But shown in rep list when you meet LSF-affiliated players ... Then they are worth adding for uniformity sake - it makes sense to have same rep with them as with Liberty Police and Navy.

Huor: about ASF/CSF setup - if players with these licenses have to be hostile to the opposite faction, could you remove any relations between ASF/CSF and other Sirius groups? When you're forced to kill ASF or CSF all the time, a number of other factions will very quickly become red (especially if some of them are already at -0.59 because of RP license).

I also vote for Martind's awesome idea about Hidden GMG - this is what we needed for a long time!

There are just 3 factions so far - you are free to name me other factiosn which could probably be corrupt and support smuggling

    Outcasts
"Little information is available about the Outcasts, but they are believed to be heavily involved in the trafficking of the drug Cardamine."

    Hogosha
"The Hogosha handle Artifacts and gun smuggling and the fencing of stolen goods."

    Junkers
"Their latest foray is a departure -- a base in the Border Worlds. Attracted by the ALG operation Sigma-13, they have set up shop near the facility and do most of the dirty work, picking off the best loot from the old ships for themselves. It also serves as convenient launching point for Cardamine and Artifacts runs into New Berlin. Long distance smuggling is new for the faction, which is still perfecting this skill."

    Xenos
"To gain a more stable income stream, they hope to evict the Junkers from Texas, and ultimately New York, and thus control a crucial market for Cardamine."

    Corsairs
"They grew rapidly in size and sophistication as they built up the Artifact trade. The primary smuggling route goes north to Sigma-19, where Artifacts are traded with the Hogosha onboard the Hawaii."

    Liberty Rogues
"They also provide shelter for the Outcasts in exchange for Cardamine. Recently they have become the smugglers for much of the Cardamine in Liberty space, supplementing or even replacing the Outcasts on certain high-risk routes."

    ----------

Not sure if this list is complete... Besides, after a quick check I couldn't find any mention of smuggling activities by ALG and Farmer's Alliance, only found one for Lane Hackers ("Their Cardamine addiction force the Hackers to trade drugs for Trade Lane info with the Outcasts at the Mactan base. Leiden is a key transfer point for smuggled goods between Kusari and Liberty, especially the Artifacts trade, which the Hogosha dominate.").

Also, Bretonia Armed Forces are missing from all presets.

Hello, I've got some questions :)

    Quote

Smugglers and Mercs are similar setup

Do you mean "similar to each other" or "similar to described above (to police & pirates)"?
And then, could you tell more about their relations with NPCs?

    Thank you in advance.

But in Sirius you often meet a mixture of ships of different factions in one place - and if one of them is hostile, others can start attacking you too. Since many groups are spread all over Sirius, it's hard to tell which areas will be really safe or dangerous for someone with certain reputation.

(Just something to take into account; there must be safe trade routes for police/pirates as well)

Hello Ramses and welcome to the CF community.
Coalition Rogues leave a lot of nanobots in loot, so all you need is to press GGGGGGGGGG and kill a rogue fighter faster than your nanobots end, then press B (after that nanobots will be full again), then repeat same actions with the next target :) It gets easier with each kill because fewer rogues are left to shoot at you.

    Good luck!
