how events work for you
Decently.
As for the honest answer: whenever an event is posted, there's normally a detailed description of what it's going to be about. Unless it's a defined type event like Nomad Hunt or Deathmatch, those have their own rules available here:
With this system, I see no reason to pump 5 enchantments. I have a damaged reputation on the main enchant of 1 ASID: 2.5k exterminators have already been killed to make it neutral and trade on it!
Yesterday I thought that I did everything I bought a reputation from IMG, there were BMM, XENOS. Buying reputation from BMM (was red -6/7 cells) became +9 maximum !! and back 5 factions are red !!!!
It's called start over ...
I wouldn't recommend buying bribes. Killing fighters/storage depots is a way more controllable way to change reputation. Not to mention profitable. Unless, of course, you do not know the magic of selling escape pods at prisons either.
In fact, you can change your goal from trading to podding.
Ajay, you made me laugh) For all the time on the server, only 1 person helped me. It was in broken English - because I don't know him !!!
That's why I started talking about credit transfers. To enter, a Russian-speaking player without knowledge of English meets difficulties.
This practice of throwing equipment into space is available on many servers.
Welp, you're outta luck then.
Please make / correct in WIKKI such information on STI ships, namely, for example: Eagle has 1 slot for a torpedo or a cruise destroyer (CD / T), but Griffon has 2 slots for both torpedo and Hornet, although information is shown in WIKKI CD / T. and so on for STI ships. Not everyone has reliable information.
I'll look into it.
EDIT: Clarified on CD/T slots in Griffin, Lagg and Seahorse entries. Will do the same with others once I'll remember how many different slots they have.
Tell me where to buy the ship Quasar?
Look at the tags in the article ("Fighter", "Crossfire Mod", "VHF", "Wheel of Sirius", "Quasar") and think again.
And at the expense of the theft of NPCs in the New York system, I had in mind this example: CHAR1 AA throws weapons and ammunition into space and land on a planet / station. Then the Player changes the spell2 AB flies into space and takes away what was thrown out by the spell1 AA Everything is elementary !!!
Ah, so you do not know the power of friendship and trade requests.
How 'bout this one:
-Get a trusted fellow player to get to your location
-Use trade request to give them equipment/credits
-Switch chars
-Have said player use trade request to give said equipment/credits to your another char.
Virtually eliminates any chance that the NPCs will steal your stuff.
How difficult it is for you
Not difficult at all, how about that. Most of my chars make their own money.
Or do you have to put in the bank and then withdraw?
Exactly.
Bank account is the same for all chars on the same ID, you can /deposit needed amount and then /withdraw them on the char you need. If you have to transfer between chars on different IDs, put the needed money in the bank and use /transfer command (to any char on that ID).
Or you can bypass the bank entirely by invoking power of friendship and getting a trusted player to transfer the money via trade requests, same as with the equipment.
it will be interesting to conduct a role-playing game: escape from pirates, police on a merchant ship or a fighter. Players who have passed the game know all the jump holes and use them.
This is already pretty much how the RP system on the server works.
You mean they don't work in the CF Open SP? 'cos last time i checked they open in CF Storyline after you get to use them when the story demands.
Also aren't New York->Alaska and Magellan->Leeds closed in vanilla FL as well? (I'm going to assume you meant Magellan->Leeds 'cos Manchester->Leeds is a pretty ordinary jumphole that always works).
Also I think Hokkaido->Tohoku plain doesn't work. Correct me if I'm wrong.
This renders MANY warframes and warframe builds totally useless in Railjack now. You could take a frame with a large energy pool and a Flow or Primed Flow mod into Railjack missions. This would improve the situation for sure but your energy still will be limited unless you have something that regenerates energy (e.g. Energy Siphon Aura, Zenurik Focus school or an energy booster on your gear while).
I solved this by using one of my Ivara builds; with Energy Siphon and Energizing Dash. Might also see if Sahasa Kubrow works.
Also, I'm yet to use Seeker Volley in Corpus Railjack missions. I just activate Particle Ram and fly with it. Seeker Volley works best when you are fighting a flak load of fighters, and Corpus missions spawn them in small portions.
Also you could try Hildryn.
Pilots never fly where you want them to be. They can get the ship get stuck in stations... they can fly far away forcing you to fly towards them and use the omni tool to board them again. If you use beam weapons like Photor they are unable to fire a continues beam. They fire pulses instead wasting dps.
I personally found the pilot useful for the situations when I'm doing secondary objectives/priority targets and there are fighters nearby. All other times I reassign that crew member to Engineer/Defender/Gunner.
When Engineers have no other job (e.g. takeing care of a fire) they also engage in combat to clear boarding parties.
Except that the boarding party sets the fire the first thing, so the Engineer will prioritize extinguishing it over the guy who set it that's currently stabbing their face off.
Similar to the Engineer Gunners also can defend the railjack if they are not busy using the turrets. They will leave the turrets when boarded any no enemy ships are in range.
Unfortunately, in the new Corpus missions, there are always enemy ships in range. Never once have I noticed a gunner leaving their seat to deal with the boarding.
Honestly, the Defender role could just be an option for Engineers, Pilots and Gunners. Either tell them to drop and repel boarding once they appear or prioirtize their duty.
It's still an extra buck, and most NPCs that you fight in missions in Oasis carry Hornets.
Besides, the way autobuy works now is still fairly effective at keeping the PvP going.
I mean that you need it to work when you take off from the planet or base !!!! This is useful for PVP games.
Last time I checked respawning does trigger autobuy.
In other words: autobuy should work whenever you appear on the base, whether via landing or respawn.
EDIT: Just tested it. It works on respawn, therefore there's no need making in work on take-off.
In fact, making it work on take-off will be harmful for PvE. Say, I'm taking my PvP char into Oasis and I want to make extra money, so I sell half of bats/bots and Hornet CD ammo since they drop from NPCs. Having autobuy work on take off would work against that.
Well, what can I say. I'm not sure if this translation won't cause anticheat problems...
But I actually meant my playthrough project. That one I started in Jan 2021 and then put onto an indefinite hiatus due to RL related stuff.
Example: we carry out pvp, we spend missiles, torpedoes, mines - I was killed, I fly out to continue and everything is automatically replenished! And you have to do everything yourself.
Did you try using "/autobuy all on" command? Last time I checked respawning does trigger autobuy.
And use the "edit" button ffs, no need to multipost.
Wait a sec. I can put a normal Forma into an Aura slot?
... I really wasn't aware of that.
But seriously, this is what they should have done to all slots in the Plexus: ability to give any slot universal polarity.
I started solo... used the new NPCs (not my lichs) and got totally owned because they did not do what they were supposed to do. Of course did I give them tasks prior starting the missions but they happily ignored their job.
Strange. Mine did their job passably. Probably because my pilot NPC has 5 in piloting? But that's a resource-available crew member that wouldn't be available for a new player, so there's that.
My Railjack prior the update was 100% maxed out with shitloads of resources that went into upgrades. What I got refunded was a joke. 10k Endo does in no way compensate the costs bringing the railjack back to where it once was.
One of the reasons why I was excited for Dirac->Endo transfer? I had metric flak ton of Dirac and nowhere to spend it on. So it was profitable for me in terms of Endo.
Credits, on the other hand? Not so much.
In the 5 missions that I have played I was non-stop under attack by enemy fighters or enemy torpedoes (which seem to launch once every 2 minutes) giving me absolutely no time to do the mission objectives.
Endless fighters/crewships is bullshit, and this is why I would prefer doing Skirmish missions. Here I have to agree completely. But there's apparently something bugged with your crew 'cos mine so far (and I cleared Venus and Neptune Proxima) did their job passably.
Also Corpus Ice Driver keeps flinging comet shards at you even after you disable it. But this is definitely a bug.
Ok, I can now put a few forma on the railjack and try to make the mods stronger. A luxury new players probably dont have.
But turning the Avionics system into mods is even more limiting than it was before. With Avionics you only needed to care about the total capacity. But now you also need to consider the polarities of the new mods and have to put polarities on mod slots which in the end limits your options. The flexibility you had before is no longer there.
Different builds might now conflict with your slot polarization.
Plexus system is also bullshit, at least for new players. I might go a bit further and say that the polarity system in general is bullshit since it kills build flexibility. Would be fine for everything else since you can have multiple of it, but you only have 1 Plexus. Also you'll need Aura Forma to get the most of your railjack. What are the odds of a new player having an Aura Forma?
Removing ship energy and using warframe energy instead is another stupid change which will limit very much which Warframes you can actually use on Railjack.
That is indeed bullshit. The workaround that I use involves some of the following:
a) a decent pilot to keep the 'jack intact while I go to the Forge and craft myself some Warframe Energy
b) a high energy capacity Ivara Prime
c) Energy Siphon
d) Energizing Dash
e) a Necramech to compensate for Ivara's lack of staying power.
...I think that says enough.
Last but not least do I think that there still is no real incentive for most players to play Railjack missions.
Well, there still is one for me: to grind experience for my MR fodder loadout. Yes, Gian Point is gone... but now my loadout doesn't matter at all because I can use a necramech when the celestial meets the terrestrial. Yes, the railjack energy is tied to warframe energy. Two words: Energizing Dash. Also it's still a source of relics and now also a low-key source of Endo as well.
Though that won't last long since I'm sure DE will wreck the Grineer Skirmish missions too.
Neither did I. Jeez, I can scrap my LP then? Or at least scrap the idea of translating it into Russian after it's complete? Wheeew.
I'm going to interrupt this with my first impressions with the fresh Railjack update.
First of all, I love the design of the Corpus ships and missions. Crewships' interior in particular. I also love that they added extra banter. Cephalon Cy is as witty and dryly-humorous as ever. The enemy banter from the Corpus captains also add some flavor. In addition, the NPC crewmen also have things to say.
Speaking of those. NPC crewmen are now available! I can now play solo and have my Railjack not be a sitting duck! They can pilot my Railjack when I'm away, they can man the turrets, they can help defend the ship. Sadly, the defenders and engineers both seem to ignore hazards.
On the other hand, the new missions' layout... I think they are only manageable because I have a good NPC pilot and pretty high intrinsics. I think OP is going to have it easier since he can have a dedicated defender Lich to fight off the boarders. I just have a middle-of-the-road Steel Meridian lady armed with my old Gorgon Wraith as a gunner/defender/engineer.
Good thing that once I get into the main objective I don't have to worry about the 'jack.
Also good thing that the Grineer Skirmish missions remain as they are. They are kinda less pressing than the others. In fact, they got way better because a) Crewships are now one-shottable with Forward Artillery, b) Crewship destruction awards affinity. I wish DE kept Skirmish missions and added some for Corpus.
The decision to use Warframe energy for avionics is bullshit and severely limits usability of my Inaros Prime. My Rhino is going to be okay (due to Zenurik), and I'm probably going to use Ivara for it.
But that doesn't matter since I can use Necramech in railjack missions, so even if I have to have enemies shooting at me (e.g. Defense missions), I can use the 'mech. In fact, the Orphix missions are making a comeback!.. which means players below MR14 are screwed. Volatile missions, they are going to be problematic though.
Now to other changes. The avionics->mods; dirac->endo change fixed my situation with Endo... but now I'm broke again.
The hull and armor are now tied to Plating, which means I had to backtrack and get myself a new one. BTW, we have Sigma Plating MK3 available. you can use it until you get the plating you want as a drop.
Now that Reactors give bonuses to the battle avionics, I need another reactor, 'cos I use Seeker Volley and want bonus Strength for it (and I have a Vidar reactor that buffs Duration and Range).
Now, the worst part. The bugs. The Forge is bugged, the pets' interaction with recall and exploding Corpus crewships is bugged (I once got a Panzer Vulpaphyla perma-dead when recalling from a crewship)... But that's just that: bugs. They should be fixed sooner or later.
Now, this is a more radical change than Railjack Revised that dropped an year ago. It had steps back as well as steps forward. But honestly... I can live with that. There are still things DE can do if they keep going in the chosen direction. Fix the bugs. Extend the functionality of Kuva Liches as crew members. Allow Defenders and Engineers to fix hazards.
Also, the new Internal Bleeding mod? I'd be thinking to use it with Gorgonzolas. But I have a Prisma Gorgon now, and It can plain use Hunter Mumu.
^ I'll up that with an authentic Russian cover.
The guy actually makes references to songs like Warshavianka or both Soviet anthems.
Also, that promo makes me interested... Lun-class GEC and Adm. Kuznetsov? And the latter actually can use missiles? (I also noticed the button with the depth charge launchers)
