It's gotten way too quiet here. Time to fix this.

Okay, people. What do y'all think about October 3rd? Yes, Saturday, but I expect I might be unavailable on Sunday.
-
I hope "second thoughts" means "ideas about a new event later"...
Sorry, but those second thoughts were "I still have a lot of stuff to do for my work"
But I'll probably be able to run another one next Sunday.

Um, probably this is because the time gets adjusted for you? I referred to 12:00 server time.
My advice would be to drop by couple of days before event and check the time using /time command.

Inner Core Survival: Pyrrdra System has been cancelled due to lack of participants (as well as me having second thoughts about the event).
Heartfelt apologies for the inconvenience caused by this cancellation.
Other people are welcome to salvage this idea and carry out this event at a later date.

Here's the installation guide: Frequently Asked Questions - SWAT Portal
If you're asking about how to get Freelancer, well... I'm not sure how you folks can get an FL copy these days. Aside from that, most things are covered in that guide.

INCOMING MESSAGE:
From: Coalition HQ, "Canteen", Intelligence Advisor of Alien Threats Department of CID
To: Deep Space 17, "Ajay", Coalition Acting Chief Intelligence Officer of DS17
Topic: Re [9]: Intelligence gathering
We've got another breakthrough.
As you know, one of the reasons why we first ordered to test the surveillance drones in Venn was to test their stealth capabilities. We had specific concerns about Dom'Setek and Sentinel, since a fair bit of design solutions used in these devices was of Dom'Setek origin.
Now that we have enough statistical data from Dom'Setek and Sentinel encounters in Venn, we can clear the deployment of these devices in Dom'Setek space.
Operation details.
Zones where drones should be deployed are designated A, B and C, near Repair Buoys. The distraction team should avoid intersecting with the deployment unit to keep the drones off scope. After the deployment unit completes the objective in the zone, the Repair Buoys are safe to use. The deployment unit arrives from Sadurn (fml) system and begins operation as soon as the distraction team reports first hostile contact, and leaves through Celldra (fml x2) system. The distraction team deploys from Deep Space 17 and returns to Deep Space 17 as well. Moving around the system is up to the distraction team leader. The order in which the zones are visited are up to the deploying unit as well.

And this one's because my march order came yesterday.
"Abmarschbefehl auf meiner Funkfrequenz..."

Finally got to continue my Nier Automata playthrough yesterday (the second one after cutting up my save data), Got to last leg of Route A, stopped right after the Copied City run-in. So naturally, the fitting music for that part of the playthrough:

Imperial Guard again, because well, they are my favorite faction. (1st favorite, with Iron Warriors 2nd and AdMech 3rd), In a world of (not always) living killing machines, they are a force of ordinary humans (Okay, they have Ogryns and Sanctioned Psykers with their ranks). With the best tanks and artillery in the game. They are the rare faction in WH40k that actually behaves like an army (and fights like one). Don't get me started on specific variant regiments such as Death Korps of Krieg (whose commissars are there to make sure their charges aren't going to get themselves killed in vain).
