Thanks Wanderer. I should have realised that. So far I found this anomaly and the wreckage of station Ithica. Are there others?

In my exploration of the New York Badlands I've come across this (see attachment). It tries to burn me up if I go near it. It not shown on the map …….. or even labelled. ThanksUnknown.jpg

Thanks Ringo. I had misunderstood. Although I found the wreck of station Ithica which I now think should be shown on the New York WIKI Map and noted in its Descriptor. I'll see what Martind says. I'll also suggest we show the Alaska > New York Warp Gate as one way only ……… particularly at the Alaska end.

I've a bit of a role here (under careful supervision by Martind Forlon) to develop maps for WIki. My job is to explore not fight. For that purpose I fly in "God" mode and can therefore explore unaffected by mine fields, enemy attacks, etc. I'll have a second look at the Badlands and see if I can find anything ……

EDIT: Is Ithica still there after being destroyed in the campaign?

I'm probably not the person to answer that, but I would think yes. However, it the autosaves after completing the storyline that I think has been my problem. Many, many, many autosaves that I have used. It was inevitable the something would go wrong. It might just be coincidence that I have no access to that particular gate, although I don't think so. My concern is what else have I been exclude from, or changed for? So far I've noticed nothing, but I am a passive fly using only God mode. Yes, I have moved out of God mode, but I still can't access that Hypergate.

If I'm stuck with it, so be it. Its too late to revert to an earlier game save. I've travelled too far, done so much and used so many Auto-saves it would put me back hugely.

EDIT: Besides its not the only access to the Inner Core. There is one other I've found (it also having a non return restriction).

Yes …… I'm understanding that now. A previously used Auto-save carries it corruption to late Game saves.

IMHO, I don't think its a "MP only" issue. Others I here have no problem getting through in SP.

Why am I being refused?

Flying in Open SP, low level of difficulty.
