Mod of the year

only discovrey is nominated right now

i didnt really pay any attention on this so i didnt submit CF and didnt check this page

i got informed that somebody else did submit CF there... an old version (which is more than 1 year outdated), with not information about the mod, the features, no screenshots, no link to the mod... nothing
therefore CF didnt really had a chance there to be nominated for anything

not that i would care due to the fact that i think this award is just bullshit
i mean all mods are based on the same engine but they get different points for sounds and graphics while there is 0 difference due to the fact that they all use the same stuff

It has its upsides though, if your mod gets in the top hundred, more people will come and play this mod as it is more famous than before.

Is it too late to submit the newest version with a proper description?

they should be at stage 2 now where only the 100 mods used that are already nominated

bummer. If another Freelancer mod wins, it will be a travesty.

i did join BU into it, just to get some cash for a good server but only got 7 votes .

So BU is back in the dumpster. i dont mean dead, i mean poor.

I have played all mods around in FL (well, some time ago) but I dont think this discovery has any big difference from the old one. I dont even think any CF mod was submitted neither other FL mod (at least the big titles). There were just few mods submitted to the board and there were not major mods except for discovery and some other I dont recall the name now. If CF were to be submitted there would not be question about it. Up to this days, from all mod I had played, CF remains the best. Plus, one thing I didnt like about the contest is that what is the point to have just 1 contestant on many of their categories? If you are going to give an award about something you should have at least 4+ contestants (if you have them which in this case, FL does)

Anyway, live goes and it is not a bad idea to get involve on those events.

When I said CF I meant Crossfire Mod ver. (at least the new and good ones) I didnt mean SWAT mods (as Blaster universe)
