1.2? And I thought I was here for a long time, not to mention the dozens of others I know.

So here is some advice from me to you, whoever made this original thread.

Since it is obvious you have some mature insight, which I agree is lacking with many here, how about joining our community once again and be apart of the needed solution?

Also, in game the majority of the players get along just fine. The problems you see here in the forum, for a good portion, are ones caused by a few very disgruntled former CF members. In some cases it is one person with several names.^^

Most of the players here do well appreciate what Op has developed within CF and most of us do our best to solidify the integrity of the mod via our reputation.

As for me and the insane hours I place into Crossfire and enforcing the server rules, I would rather see players like you actually on the server helping us build and not posting in the forums only, since a post cannot cause a solution, where as presence can.

Well said, both of you. I've only been here since 1.5; about a year and a half I think. But I agree it's a great server. Crossfire is the best mod I've seen hands down.
And much of the kvetching on the forum is done by newbies or people who aren't a part of the playing community anymore.
But there is a lot of complaining about lag and other issues that comes from current members, myself included. So we could all stand to take a step back and reevaluate this free sandbox we all play in and remember that somebody has to put lots of time and effort into keeping it in order.
A little patience, a little mutual respect would do us all good.

I always respect people for what they have done. I am a young guy but know a lot about respect. My old clan left for another server but I stayed here as I liked this place a lot. I have many friends here. It is many times that even nice guys get troubled and they post on the forums. They all are misunderstandings and are solved over time. I have always respected friendship and I always will. There are many nice guys out there too.

The author of the post should have just clamed down a bit before he made a post here.
I will like to quote Gunny here. He once told me that he wished that people just played here than bring crap here. I have always been a nice member of the community. :]
I think telling others that they are ungrateful is not decent and certainly not the best way to start new friendships.
Believe me everyone is grateful to OP to run the server. I for one love this server and never going to leave it for another server

btw I never played any other mod before I played here. I stared playing from 1.62 version and will always continue as long as my friends are here

sry amhos, i agree with him. i joined CF on the end of 1.4 and the start of 1.5, at that time it was the best. No arguments, just a load o' fun. Now its getting mixed.

I used to come on, i always got a message either inviting me to explore, or just for a bit of PvP. I look back, and feel cheerful

Veterans in FL know that everywhere are bad manners ppl, or moaners, or people that cant play with others, or people that cant lose a fight.

It happens in all online games.

The difference between one server or another server are; server staff, the % of "good" players and "bad" players, the connection and maunetance of server, the quality of the mod....

In my opinion all ppl should ask ourselves one question when we are online: Are we getting fun??? if not, please turn off the pc, if yes, share your fun with others.

It is a sociologist answer; you have a community, you have rules, so you get same problems that any other community, but playing online YOU HAVE THE POWER because you can choice the comunity in one minute.

Hi i have read all thes comments and i agree with Gunny if you really want to help make this server what a majority of us know it can be THEN BE ACTIVE, the server police do a very good job but they cant do it alone they need help from other respected members to enforce the rules and route out the bad seeds, i personally let it all go over my head just because there is a few immature people on here that like to spoil it for othere's, i will not bring myself down to there level , all the people who have left because of this reason have not prooved anything but the fact that the minor few causing the problems have won, So to all that have left for this reason and are moaning about it come back and help us put it right.

Welcome Back to CF. I hope you will stay and help build this community and invite your friends as all would be welcome. We can always use the help.

Something I would like to point out is that all posts in response have been thankful, respectful, and honest. Not the expected response from a bunch of "ungratefull brats". If you go ingame you will find most people ( Server Clans especially) to be cheerful and helpful. I invite you to log on and see for yourself. We have a fanatastic community. If people dont respond right away then they may be in battle or missed the message due to docking sequence.

As others have said, the vast majority of unsavory posts have been made by a disgruntled few.

The reasons for people leaving CF are as varied as human beings themselves. Some leave because they cant use cheats or use tools to tell them where everything is. Some people only are interested in a "gaming server" and dont want to be part of a community. Others want to change things to serve themselves and leave when they dont get what they want. Some leave because they were poached from CF by rival servers. Etc...

I will fully support that and point out that the people that he calls Ungrateful Brats do not even come to the forum. If they ever come here they only bitch about their problems and keep fighting all the time rather than leaving the fight behind for a more enoyable time on the server.

btw I am also a nice person and there are many freelancers that I know are very nice and respond too atleast with a HI. :]

Firstly LP clan is seen very less on the server recently. I have not seen you also in a very long time.
I will be soon in Altair Systems so if you come online I may ask you to help me out with the aliens. I do not like PvP or exploring that much but I love to blow the aliens out of our space

This is what I've seen whenever I've gone in multiplayer gameplay. I grew weary of it long ago and have found that any attempt to change it either results in a flaming or general ignorance. I used to set roots in communities, especially this one, but one has a lot more fun if he or she doesn't. If the community behaves poorly most people of high calibur will not remain here long. If the community cleans up its act and fixes its problems the unmature and irresponsible will be displaced by the best kind of gamers. I am no longer active on the server because of this... it's simply no fun, despite the fact that OP made an incredible game. Most of the clanleaders and veterans are wonderful people, but there are too many hooligans and underminers of RP out there. I know somebody will reply with a cutting remark about how I have done nothing to help in this problem, but I have as a matter of fact. I did for many months, but to no avail. I am not a traitor or coward, just someone with well-set priorities (and no, I'm not going to a different FL server). I may come back someday, but I for one am not going to play a game in which other people can cheat me of my good times.

Like Slayer im fairly new to online mod playing and ive checked into others and this is only one i play .

m8 your comments are true , but try being inspace with us once in awhile u may see a very big differance to u read there are those that r working together here helping one another i for one do not intend on leaving soon either . so come be a friend help us make a strong community for everyone if u r old than the wisdom is welcome.
Each has a role fighters , pirates, traders, cops, military and so on. a wise person once told me ... Each has a role , not everyone can be fighters, or etc..... but u can have a share and a role but u have to choose and make role work for u and only u can do that.....so plz join us find your role dont leave us in the dark if u have light share it .. understand???? ty for post and Thank u OP for ur dream .....SALUTES M8

I know that you are a very nice person and the same thing can be said about me.
I will say frankly that if your real life is not holding you back then you are a coward. I have also many real life problems so I know how grave can they be
I also see that you have not written anything avout your real life problems so then you have run away from this place thinking that you are one of the Best Fighters here so there is nothing to prove. I know you have beaten me many times but I keep getting better. I am going to beat you one day. The same also goes for Gunny. I just need my luck to be perfect that day. I do not mean that I want you to be sleepy though that may help

I flew around with you so many times and we always had a good time. I remember OP saying that Order RP does not work and that is what happened to you too. I hope you are not feeling miserable because Gigantula of Fallen clan is invincible

I remember BD clan was also considering a RP change. I heard that you people wanted to be pirates. This is the right time for that RP because LP and Fallen members have reduced and most Freelancers are not wanting to be pirates as there is a lot of cops on the server

I think I am also getting to see Lance's side of things on the server. Today the Server was at it's most uncooperative state [3]
I do not mean that I was not getting permission to pass thru some system. I did not need to pass through anyone's system. I just needed a transfer and I got just one transfer barely. I needed to delete my old character so I could make a new one but no one was ready to help with transfer
