I am currently thinking of / working on a new feature for the server
a dynamic faction contest system between ASF and CSF (or any other faction)
The goal is to make the game world feel more alive and give players meaningful long-term objectives — no matter if you prefer PvP, trading or missions.
⚔️ Core Concept
Instead of fixed ownership, systems will be controlled through a dynamic influence system:
- Systems are not permanently owned
- Their state depends entirely on player activity
- Control can shift at any time
Each system can be:

Players can contribute to their faction in multiple ways:
🔫 PvP
- Destroying players of the opposing faction increases your faction’s influence
- Combat has the strongest immediate impact on system control
📦 Trading
- Selling goods contributes influence based on economic activity
- Traders actively support their faction’s expansion
🛰️ Missions
- Completing missions generates influence
- PvE gameplay plays an important role in the overall conflict
👉 Every playstyle contributes to the faction war.
🔁 Dynamic system behavior
The system is designed to stay active and balanced over time:
⏳ Influence decay
- Influence naturally decreases over time
- Inactive systems will gradually return toward a neutral state
🔄 Continuous conflict
- No system is permanently locked
- Every system can always be contested and taken back
🌍 Frontline progression
- Influence can only spread through connected systems
- Control expands step by step instead of jumping across the map
👉 This creates natural frontlines and ongoing conflicts.

- Border regions between factions
- Primary zones for expansion and defense

The system is currently in development pretty much in the planning phase and will be continuously balanced with community feedback.
