4k resolution could mean anything
so no, i cant really help with that
you could try to use the classic FL UI when installing the mod

Simply go to your Freelancer (/Crossfire) installation and look in the DATA folder, open up Font.ini and scroll down to each of the underlined paragraph.
Edit: If by some chance this does not work, lower Rollover to 0.024000 & HudSmall to 0.028000

However! I've reinstalled Crossfire as 'Full Installation', so now using the Crossfire Freelancer UI and here is the information you need to make all the UI data show up.
