Hello, i started the launcher and as normaly selected singleplayer when i started to update it doesnt update just stuck on "Starting Update".

Sometimes launcher takes some time to start update,even couple minutes,but like ELI say's,restarting launcher helps.

maybe your firewall is blocking the launcher

Update Server Timeout [E...AD]
- Cant read update source or server does not respond within 30 seconds.
Can you tell whats in the log? It seems indeed the server communication is blocked.

I am pretty sure Freelancer just had problems reading the strange italic fonts on your PC
