When i buy a a new ship or anything all text ingame is replaced is complete does any one know how to fix

Few ingame screenshots where will be seen font problem can be good. Just in case it is about "huge" fonts displayed in menus etc., then try this: Advices & Hints & Tips - SWAT Portal

but it could be a missing dll file

My guess is: wrong installation or activation or non-original Freelancer version or maybe (really dunno here) language version which is not compatibile.

Edit: OP was faster

My Copy of freelancer is from a disk from when my brother got it for his birthday and every time i load in to the game it updates 43 items
