    Baene makes some awesome-looking ships. What I have noticed while playing this mod, is that many of his ships are an excellent fit for the traditional Freelancer game, but are sluggish in comparison to many other VHF's in this mod. That's why you don't see a lot of Ceptyrs or Gunstars flying around (two very nice looking ships, IMO). Actually the Gunstar is right on the edge when it comes to adequate maneuverability. But the Ceptyr takes its good ol' time when banking or turning. It has six class-10 hardoints but that don't help when the enemy consistently has the drop on you, rather than the other way around.


    I think he makes the Bullpup series, which would be a notable exception.

    These ships were all well balanced while on Asgard, then a few of them found their way to the Evolved mod, each modder will re-write the cards in their own way so you can hardly put the blame on a shipwright, it's each modder's responsability to balance all his ships, if you import them from another mod and take them as is without balancing them then of course they won't be balanced.


    I flew all the ships above while on Asgard so I know what I'm taking about, also the mass of the ships are to be taken under consideration so is it's armor, the higher the armor the more your ship should move like a tank, a good example of this is the Giga it was my faction ship at 16,500 armor, it was a tank so it moved like one that's what we call balance.


    The Giga was a deadly ship for assaults and raids but forget about PVP handling... :(
    However I had the nastiest looking faction ship in mod... :D


    If the cards are all different then so should their flight response... :D

    ive flown alot of baenes ships in diferent mods and never had a problem killing with them it just a different flying style he ia an excellent shipwright

    The Blood Dragon (aka Dragon Mk II on some mods) is still my favorite ship of all time. Lol, I remember seeing many of these fighters before; this guy is a seriously good shipwright :D.

    Yeah it would be cool to have some more of these ships like the Black Dragon,Demon Experimental,&Demon X MK2(my personal favorites :D ),but its all up to OP

    Maybe the next version of the mod should just be an addon of ships, weps, and a few bug fixes. It's the little things that seem to make a good thing even better. :D

    I don't know OP, I was just looking at the Sir Ex ship models and Rogue is simply in a league beyond Baene. If such a mod would ever be completed I'd be dissapointed to see the incredibly textured and traditionally influenced ships (evolved from existing FL ships, not completely new ones) be countered by these other ones that simply couldn't fit in. The bullpups are close, but these ships simply aren't the same kind of material :D.

    Some very cool designs there for sure, thums up Rogue.
    As far as ships and skins are concerned I like Baene style way better, to each his own I guess. Once a Baene fan always a Baene fan... :D
