Noone can be banned for smuggling

I think people really need to be aware that POLICE clans can only enforce role play laws, they can hunt pirates, stop smugglers, defend legitimate traders from pirates etc

Now SERVERPOLICE enforce the server rules and help towards the smooth running of the server with restarts or calming troublemakers down and a SP has no jurisdiction to interfere in role play unless its causing a problem or contravening server rules but and SP cannot stop a say a smuggler

if some1 threats with ban make a screenshot... send it to me and i will ban this guy if its an unreasonable thread

Hmm. I also see an growing number of KRT disrupting trade inside Sol, and i would like to remember UAC role, because i see some ppl forgeting it.
We are an business corporation with unlimited funds and permission to work outside moral and legal obligations..

second thing: i cought this morning Astatic with illegal cargo and he manage to escape and then he switched his char -> THAT DO ONLY COWARDS (his explaination : i just wanna save my money --> thats GIRL TALK)

i think this sol thing is funny its like the old sigma 19 days with everyone running the route and because the route is spread over so many systems there is plenty of opportunity for police actions and pirate mischief so it cant be a bad thing but if astatic escaped then changed chars i see np if he had escaped, F1ing i don't like though

I don't really see what the problem is... Imao, smugglers already have free reign over the server. Most have us do it as a means of income. Should we just be able to hop into a train whenever we feel like it and assume that we're safe and have rights of passage though? Smuggling is supposed to be dangerous, and the police are supposed to stop it, regardless of how all us smugglers feel about it. If you don't want police to attack you during your trading route, than stay in Rhineland or wherever it is you like to trade, but do so with legal commodities. Now if you can organize effective escorts that's cool, but don't be angry at a clan for doing what it's RP stance demands of it. I think we've drifted off the topic. This thread started off being about threats to ban. That is the only problem I can see with this police crackdown.

nope there is np and if the smugglers paid for escorts or asked a clan m8 to help its more fun for everyone

BUT i think KRT need to rethink one aspect of how they play their role

That almost made sense, but they said if they see a trader with an escort they will kill them immedeately? What, no scan to see if the train is carrying contraband or not? What if the "escort" is just someone tagging along? Police don't KOS trains, they identify whether or not the trader is smuggling, attempt to enforce the law non-violently, and then only use deadly force in self defense (or in this case when the suspects flee ^^). You're right DS, I must have missed some of the fine print here

on the other hand, i think this thread is going off topic: nobody cast doubt on the wellness of roleplaying, but on the convenience of threat players with banning, and i think darkstalker and then op put clear what can and what cannot be done about bans before (thus the finito word in ops post ^^)

three, killing players multiple times in one day running bm goods can bankrupt them quickly and I advised against it......krt policy needs to be reviewed.

I hope you will uphold the law without corrupting it for others and taking away their fun. I realise it was not you that threatened to ban a smuggler, but please try to control your troops.
