I think moneys were not issue (later you can have more as enough moneys), issue could be long time ignoring Junis call (once she leave message visit her, game comes to paused campaign mode). Can be autosave used. Dunno, its guessing only.

One question: I learned about rapid fire, but there is very little information about this subject, even on google... Can you tell my how it works, why? All I know is that for some reason it is best to use rapid fire with guns having a high refire rate... also it does not seem to work with weapon groups.

I wish I could explain it to you also, but I don't really know how it works too. Many years ago, a fellow friend of mine and player showed it to me (back in 1.7 version of the mod) and I thought that I should share it later on when I made these videos.

So, all credits for the Rapid Fire goes to Jack Bauer.

  • Ok, thank you both, I mean I´m using it (may have been not clear enough here) but I wanted to use it the most efficient way, therefore I wanted to know the why. But if nobody knows... can you confirm it is more effective with fast firing weapons?
And thank you for the video instructions Cryzis :) I think engine kill is not useful or even problematic in PvE, as in moments you don´t thrust you´re flying in a straight line, therefore being an easy target, but 1vs1 it´s a good thing and also it was a totally new experience on how to fly around. At first I got a little motionsick xD, but then got used to it. Cheers

  • Well, I'm using the Rapid Fire since 1.7 (that's like a decade/+ ago), so from what I can tell, it does really look much better than the ordinary firing. And yes, the faster the speed, the better 'feeling'. Though you could also use it for slower weapons as well, but it's better with weapons which have 8.33 Refire Rate, but again, it depends on preference. For example, when I was doing the campaign before for... I don't know which time, I still used the Rapid Fire on slower weapons, basically I am ALWAYS using it no matter on the weapon's refire rate. So, it depends really on preference. :)

About the Engine Kill, it's use is both in PvP and PvE. The EK is about maneuvers on the battlefield, the more you use it, the more you can evade and be faster as well. It doesn't matter if you fight a person or an npc, it's use applies in every combat. If it's problematic to you in PvE, then you need to find a way on how to use it differently, different fight = different maneuvers. :)

And thank you for the feedback!, although I was planning on improving them, but RL got in the way, so we will see. I'm really glad that they helped you out! Cheers! :00000436:
