Freedom will open his door as a clan

Hello Everybody,

I am here to announce that freedom (as soon as I get all fix up) will open his doors as a clan.

Some of Freedom parameters are working on:

1st.- Freedom would not just be a freelancer clan. The objective is to participate in another games too toguether with the SWAT community. For the time being, we will be part also of the old Starlancer community. That means that our trainning will be concetrated in Freelancer and Starlancer.

2nd.- Everybody in freedom would have equal participation except for the code of honor Im working on. Anything that goes against that code will be NOT accepted.

3rd.- The role of freedom is to protect and assist the freelancers in CF and to became a military force in Starlancer. We help people to find their way, gear up with some basic equipment, protect honest traders for piracy and abuse from any other freelancer or clans ;), and trainning ops to improve our skills in flying, fighting , trading, and helping people.

4th.- Any player could participate in freedom as long as they keep our Code of Honor. This means that no mater what is your skill (fighting, trading, exploring, PvP) you could be freedom material.

5th.- When everything is sorted out, we would have our own clan system in Crossfire where we do all our trainning and initiation clan operations. yes, initiation, a set of task to become a member which will change from time to time and it will be set by the members at the time of initiation.

6th.- Members would wear Police tags all time when they are fullfilling their role of helping and protecting others and Mercenary tags when they are trading and escorting people.

7th.- Im working on a new ship. After I finished it (it will take at least 1 month more) i will send it to OP, if he approve it and introduce this ship in CF, it would be our clan ops ship. It would be available to anyone but in our system and if we would give people permission to pass or they would sneak under

8th.- We already have a forum, but Im working on the sections and other set ups

Anyway, if you read clear enough these are still ideas in most of cases and I working on fullfill each one. More news about freedom would be available soon and I hope this would become a reality

I ve been away for a while for different reasons but that doesnt mean I left. So far this is what is done:

1st.- The forum is set with a clan domain. I will start to work with some of the sections tonight that I have more time. You can visit the Freedom forums here eventhough you wont find anything today but maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. It is an slow process cause Im starting to learn how to do this stuff. I want to thanks pcforce to point me out the webpage for free domain

2nd.- I also working on the ship. Im using 2 software and I will see with which one I get more confortable to work with. The 2 software for modelling are:

The last one is from a Japanise guy and still a shareware but I found it pretty easy to use.

Well, modelling might be the easy part, dont know for sure, but setting the hardpoint and all config...who knows

Thanks m8, now the freedom forums is working and it divide in two section: General and Tavern section which is visible to anyone and Clan section which is only visible to clan members. No I need to look for the color pallete code cause I do not like those color at all so I will change.

I added a SWAT hyperlink (my hipergates ) from the freelancer section of that forum. If OP is ok with that i will keep it

Well, after 2 days going around JumpGate I found a good friend who still playing there. Lot of things have changed since I left. I did login from time to time with a friends account just for fighting the flux but didnt know about the major changes. Therefore I decided to join my friends squad. She just started the squad few days ago but it is pretty much settled with the players stations (which oyu dont have to pay anymore for monthly maintanance) and all the knew things about the game.

Yes OP mightygames shot down EU JG and some of the former EU player still playing on the US server after netdevil arranged their emigration there.

I also know that All good things will come to an end but I dont think it is the end yet of JG. Maybe in a close but also could be in a far future the end of it, who knows!

It is completely difference to Freelancer and the only thing in common with starlancer is that is Joystick driven. It is not easy to play cause you deal there with space dynamics and if you die all your gear is gone and replace with newb gear so you have to think twice about what you do there. a lot of feature are explained (partially) ithe Jossh webpage eventhough it hasnt had a major update for a while.

Well, this is our first attemp to design a ship (no texture neither harpoints yet) for Freedom clan. It is not beautiful and I already working to make it slimmer (too fat so far and really ugly) Anyway, I hope you enjoy the views cause it was fun for my first attemp:
