400 Units of invisible cargo

  • I've been wondering about the cargohold of the Battleships

Its stated that it has 1000 units of cargospace, and 400 of them seems to be used at all times.
I just wonder what those 400 units of invisible cargo is.

  • that used up space is ur turrets. for some reason, they take up cargo space in ur hold. i have seen this on other mods where there r battleships and their turrets take up space. i think this happens naturaly to all battleships in Freelancer, on all mods.

  • that are the engines

  • ok may mistake. i thought it was the weps that take up space. it might be different for other mods though. (i have like over 60 mods for the 2 years i have been playing Freelancer and i have seen many different things)

  • Thats the only problem, it has no weapons so you are in a spot of bother if the place you are trading with has hostile AI factions in it.

I realize that a battleship is not a train. Infocards and Servermod tab on the frontpage just state that any of the battleships that can be bought has 1000 units of cargohold, but in fact it does not. What I meant by a fix was a change in the info stated around, to avoid stupid questions asked by people like me...

  • You can't complain, somewhere in all the paperwork which you had to fill out when you bought the ship there was some small print.
