black screen [solved]

    I have another problem when I drop the game and gives the screen goes black, I always sound and can play without picture, concealing is annoying since I can not translate the message we my send or look at the map on intenet (sorry for my sentence incomprehensible and badly structured)

    Are you referring to the opening movies at game start? If so then check your window theme settings. If you are using Win7 Aero theme, you will have to set that to the Window standard or default theme. I believe the same for Win8 and 8.1. Win10 also has the same issue but I have not found a solution yet for that.


    Vous parlez de l'ouverture des films au début du jeu ? Si oui, alors vérifier votre fenêtre Paramètres thème. Si vous utilisez Win7 le thème Aero, vous devrez définir la fenêtre standard ou thème par défaut. Je crois que la même chose pour win8 et 8.1. Win10 a également la même question mais je n'ai pas trouvé une solution encore pour cela.

    Well I'll tell every problem


    1- at the launch of the game I have no video just the sounds, I have always had is problem


    2- when I'm in part by example and I drop the game to do something and after I deliver the game the screen is black

    2- quand je suis en pleine partie part exemple et que je baisse le jeu pour faire quelque chose et que apres je remet le jeu la l'écran est noir

    Is the shader SweetFX?
    SweetFX does this if the screen resolution isn't set to 4:3 ratio. Try to set screen resolution to 1280x980 (for example) and then launch FL.

    There a small utility called QRes which can do the trick. Available at QRes - Windows screen mode changer download | SourceForge.net


    My ingame resolution is 1920x1080. Before starting CF use the qres /x:1024 /y:768 from command-prompt. Then video is showing, when starting CF

    Old thread, but thought I would contribute:


    SweetFX, Windowed Mode, and Adjust to desktop resolution allowed the intro videos to play without issue.
    Win10 x64 with Nvidia GTX 600 @ 1920x1080
