  • OK, since NPCs are most mentioned issue, below is few advices, informations about fight.

    • Don´t even think now about fly something unshielded. Its still possible, but only for ppl which really knows what are doing. Main reason is below
    • NPCs like and use often missiles. And bcs missiles have now nice chance to make systems failure, guess what can happen when you will flee and your ships engines will be unprotected and turned to them ... Have on your ship point defence is now almost "a must" ... for CZ simply equip one, not have at least one is suicide.
    • NPC's knows how to turn ship quickly, so on slower ships you should use some turrets. Turrets are now much better and can do a great work on these small NPCs hanging in your ship "6"
    • Learn how to use reverse thrust ... with FA off can be great help for large ships.
    • Feature "Report crimes against me" is now not useless. Exactly opposite to previous versions you can now heavily rely on massive support if you will be in "lawful" system. (in Anarchy no one will hear you cry ... ). In more cases you can kill all attackers if you only stay in defense till help arrive.
    • Use NPCs for your advantage in RES and CZ. You can make much more moneys doing so and avoid losing your ship.
    • There is not shame flee when under heavy NPCs fire ... if you have "hero" nature, well ... you can't say that you was not warned :P
    • Trading ship can have great services from mines launchers ... NPC don't know much how to dealt with them, so use it for your advantage
    • Forget about old AFK times (especially near sun) or on planet surfaces ... NPCs comes to visit often and you can find after return insurance screen
    • If you will have dilemma if to add one additional cargo rack or shield bank ... do add shield bank ...
    • for these with horizons: have on ship at least lvl1A collector and few limpets come quite handy .. many various micro materials come from killed ships.

    • LvL of spawned NPCs will use as reference your combat rank (potentially also explore or trade if they are much higher as combat). There for sure are also other conditions, but this one was announced publicly by FDev. It have some bright and some dark sides, but it looks that they are still do balancing and updates to NPCs.
    • Elite NPCs in CZs (combat zones) tends to stop fight with previous target and go against you. So if you will decide go after such target, be prepared that you can be fired back.
    • Interdicting NPCs come after you, if you have loaded some cargo ... amount of cargo is not important (looks so). This feature is not the "most shining", but there were already plenty suggestions make NPCs coming after you related to system status/place/mission etc. It seems that this part is still "to be updated"
    • You will face interdictions also when act in power-play. Alas here I not have yet any experience.
    • Hostile NPC chasing you for cargo may try catch you repeatedly if you low-wakes ... but if is close station, you can take him there, and local FED will make short work in him :)
