R-39 warning

Well first I would like to thank all the players for the fun pvp. You are the ones

that know we are here just for the pvp and fun. As far as the political views we really

don't care. It seems to us (Ronin) that the major issue is we haven't rented a

system.
Here is our offer to make things calmer we are willing to rent Nephele. Please

provide the information needed. It is our attempt to comply withserver rules so players can

go back to playing and not worry over this trivial crap.

In country where most

people get 150 euro per month and thats normal (and nearly enough) 20 euro for rent of

system is crazy. I'm a student and i still don't work which mean that i don't get even 20

euro per month - what if i want to make a clan who worth it i should get minimum 10 people

who can give money for this and thats not easy. Thats crazy.

the 10 members

are only for SWAT clans - the specificatoins are as always higher than

normal

best solution would be to find members which can help .... but instead of putting some work

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have extra money wavey. for

example... me!

when i was at school and since we didn't have much money, the only

money i got from my parents was money for my internet. the rest i had to make on my own by

taking on small jobs. like last say painting a fence anyway right after i got BG leader i

got a steady job. and recently i got my own new car, my own place to stay and things are

going great, i'm even gonna pay for a bf2 server soon, like OP does with crossfire. i

rented a ventrilo server for the clanmembers of braindead to better co-ordinate wars and

shit.

point of this boring post is that some people can afford 4 euro or more like i

can now.

but some people can't even afford 1 euro to donate becoz it would mean 1

euro less for food, water or the internet bill coz what is the use to donating if u don't

have the connection to enjoy it.

sry if i sound aggressive or defensive but this

subject is just real sensitive to me.

i know a clan can excist without renting a system, but the subject

of discussion here was R-39 not renting a system without people thinking they might not have

go form a clan, and try to collect the system money piece-meal from your members (btw...

they live on 3 or 4 different continents). That just doesnt happen, believe me. If ur lucky

some1 can afford it. If not, ur a one-month wonder like Godz or Iron Fangs were in regards

to having a sys (Corp's old clan didnt last much longer either...). In fact the rent

becomes a nasty issue that can break up the clan by itself out-right, or insidiously by

keeping members from coming back online.

I sympathise with you younger people

that are financially strapped. Forunately that is not R-39's situation. Stay in school it

is the best way to secure your future. Bravo for you nox clan, happy to hear you are all in

college.
Jibb R-39 as you know is not a formal clan, we each make our own chioces. You

can count on me to back you in any battle. As far as one leader, we don't have a leader but

we do have a spokes person. We cast votes for what we want for R-39. We are all equal and

have one voice.

You forget some items. The up and downstream are both 10

Mbps, and there is a server to rent (P4 3,2 GHz, 1 GB Ram). This needs to be payed as

well.
Ofcourse it can be cheaper if you have a T1 line yourself (10 Mbps up and down) and

a proper server to spare.....

Okay I understand now, OP isn't using his

personal connection and computer to host the server, but is instead renting a server to host

CF.

So that price is about right then, I guess. I will have to go price check some

server hosting companies to really get an understanding of the costs and upkeep.

its even a linux server which cant host FL
and it has total crap stats... i wouldnt pay

for such a server coz the prize for what you get is way too

ok now this is a gameserver where FL would run
but there are

some problems
1. a slow connection
2. not enough ram (if you want to have more you

need to pay 40$ additional and there you are at 155$ total)
3. the server is fast enough

for FL but not fast enough for Crossfire

all in all 169 is a fair prize for

a good server

that´s exactly what I wanted to show...

btw...

game-servers are nor our main business so it´s possible, we aren´t the cheapest...

Just for

clarafication the stats I put up is not a server hosting company, but instead my actual

internet service company(how I connect to the internet with my computer).

and still... FL

won work on it
