  • So after about 7 attempts of downloading and installing / re installing and following the advice of several people on the net of how to get my Freelancer to work with this, it has still failed to work.

I've cleaned Freelancer out of my reg, I've deleted every file that it has installed, re installed it, (FLmm 1.3.1) Multiple times, re downloaded the crossfire mod (1.9) And yet it hasn't worked.

I think I got it to work once in the past, then it came up with a bug where I had no ship names, no planet names and no names for anything, just a "-" I got it again to work last night, saved and quit came back and it had happened again. There was no reason for this as I had done nothing to change it. I have no idea why this mod will not work for me, however after attempting so many times I'm quite down with trying to make it work.

Looked like a great mod from the 20 mins of total play time I got in the end due to bugs, however I will not be playing. (Yes I have literally just made this post so I can have a rant.)

  • well ... since we have here 1000+ posts about Crossfire 2.0, is your main issue very obvious ... Crossfire 1.9 is simply to say obsolete and when you will load updates, it will get corupted in the same moment. Updates are done for Crossfire 2.0. Sorry for this, but we do not have technical possibilities to keep 1.9 udpated when is available new mod version.
