Computer rebooting everytime I enter a system

    Baldwin,i can speak for


    all of us (now 11 people) when i say,it is just freelancer with just this Mod.I have used


    the TNG mod,Evolutions mod our own DS9 patch and never had anything like this before and


    neither have the others.The only other thing i've had running (please note that i have


    fully deleted EVERYTHING 5 times now) in any instance during this time was Teamspeak.I've


    tried setting everything down to minimum settings and nothing is


    working.

    As I said before, all my drivers are up to date, I'm


    not a noob when it comes to computers.


    I shouldnt have to do a check on every piece


    of hardware in my computer just because I cannot use the mod. I have used the same mods as


    Phoenix has, and had no problems with those mods, nor had to reinstall freelancer.

    lancersreactor daily... could you give me the link where those ppl posted the


    reports?


    oh and btw... yes many ppl had problems here to install the mod but this was


    not because of crossfire... it was because of other mods that have not been uninstalled


    correctly or savegames...


    and if 6 guys have problems to run the mod and 1500 others


    have no problem then i would say the problem cant be the mod

    Although it says it has been downloaded 1500 times, please take into accunt that could


    be many players like me who have downloaded it several times to try different ways of


    getting it to work.

    So did you uninstall all your other mods ?

    in game and out, I have finally found what the problem is.


    If anyone else has the


    problems of their their computer rebooting when they go through a jump gate - Go into your


    Options in the game and disable the 3D sound.

    a friend of mine had the same issue...

    only happened when he was on the server like 0000-0200 cst(-6hr) during the night, every


    night he tried to play, ge would go though JGs and then get a reboot, then when gets back on


    the server, he is like 150k away from anything in the system that he was trying to get in


    before... one night he came back on like at 0300 and it didnt do it anymore... dunno if he


    has had the issue with 1.52, or if he even has it yet...
    but yes, very annoying, and


    personally think it could be a server/code bug, one of those kinds that the best programmers


    can miss :) so im not suggesting 0p sucks ;) just think there might be something there he


    can look into... sounds to be a very uncommon issue though :) doesnt affect me [12]
