Tool to post profiles

    Does anyone have a good tool to post a character's profile and build out onto this site?


    OP mentioned that you can take screenshots and post here using code.




    I was just wondering if there was a 3rd party posting tool...

    You could register for free on STO Academy and use their Skill Planner and post the link here. That should work ok.

    that would work if they updated the skill planner with the new content (which i doubt)



    the way its done by me or inferno was to take screenshots from the game and upload them to the portals gallery
    you can do this aswell.


    just go to the gallery, select star trek online from the categories and start to upload your screenshots


    the menu structure that you can see on our char threads is done by a tab menu (also a forum function)


    the code for it might look this way:

    and it would produce the following menu structure:


    Inside these "tabs" (where currently "content 1" or "content 2" is written you could add your gallery images
    there is a bbcode on the editor (the last bbcode) that allows you to select images from the gallery and include them into your posts


    you can experiment with that stuff on the forum... thats no problem... try it out
    and if the tab menu is too complicated for you... just post the images without it (thats also ok)

    Good to know. I might try this out over the weekend.
    I just checked on STO Academy, and it has been updated with the new stuff, i.e. T5U Ships, T6 Ships and MKIVX Gear. The new Admiral Ranks are included too.

    I only want give small hint for using pictures: if you can upload them to some place via ftp or use any other way where you can simple change picture by picture with THE SAME LINK, then you can easily keep your player profile updated with simple replacing obsolete picture.
