Well than it must be updated and i

should get to work killing to get the rank higher

U forgot to show one of the most important server stats, number of

systems explored.

As for global clan stats: Noob... WhoTF cares how many npc's are

killed... theres always plenty more where they came from, lol. I suppose i could just sit in

NY and kill Xenos all day.........

i had 100,000 kills (which wouldnt take "THAT" long) from killing pitiful little

starfliers......

I know i 'll repeat myself but ....

We have all the statistics ( money,

kills,discoveries, time spend...) is it not possible to calculate all this ( by a formula )

and call it LEVEL? and put that LEVEL somewhere on the screen like we have RANK ?

know OP is very busy but if someone has concrete ideas to help him out or have some

knowledge in programming to resolve the problem, pls tell it.

It will be a good

publicity for CROSSFIRE if we where the first/only to have a more reliable rankinglist than

one that is based only on money !

I have no programming knowledge but i sended to OP,

a long time ago, a written formula that maybe can be used as starting point.

some, and ppl shouldnt get their panties in a twist about what i and xiron said about global

clan stats.... But if u get upset enough about go take it out on some poor NPC's lol.

Yes Arvi it is a hellova lot more efficient to F1 in and out of Freeport 7 all day

(...so u dont have to wait for the next group to come), each time getting 10, 12, or 16

more nommies to kill.... Say each dozen takes 4 mins to dispatch, so 100 kills in about 35

minutes.... 20 x35 /60 =

With pee breaks takes about 12 online hours to kill 2000

NPC's... of course once we have nice ships and weps, is there much chance of any of them

killing u?

nah, its more 100 kills each 50 mins... (u know: lag, chat,...

)
so that was my point: its not so easy to get 100000 kills

anyways, the

npcs arent a challenge, but the boredom of killing them
however, mmm, if u

have time to spent killing 100000 npcs (that can kill u... it's difficult, but...) and

doing some missions and u are able to kick some butts and have fun with the game the rest of

the time, then u must be higher rank than a player that simply uses a train to trade the

same stuff in the same route everyday or than a player that simply awaits the defenceless

former close to a docking ring to rob him some money...

however i also think that the

npc kills or the money are not the best way to build a freelancer ranking... maybe a pvp

kills ranking would be better (even if i can imagine the tricks some guys could do in order

to get an higher position)...

newpol's idea is cool, but it would be better if

several servers and clans use that ranking formula... i mean, the goal of the global

rankings is to compare with other guys out there... within the server we always can compare

pvp skills

and what if we release the "updated" flstats to the public

so we can use it in a global way?

i mean i can talk to cryogenic to update the global

stats showing the new kind of stats "ranks" or however you want to call it
