Server + Admin needed

    ok for Starlancer reborn


    we will need a good server and an admin will to work together with SWAT
    This server will


    have the exclusive rights on the new mod but has to follow some conditions


    it will be


    a roleplay fight server... with less lag... only 25 systems... no traderoutes... only SL


    ships but many fights
    this server will be an addition to Crossfire


    as you can


    expect the mod will look professional like usual ^^ but it will take a few weeks to create

    I supose is about a


    machine housed on a ISP.


    Or perhaps if you have a T1 like (simmetrical)


    connection.


    In my case, my home connection is a regular adsl, about the housing, i


    dont want to mess job things with this, neither to ask favours, they are very expensive in


    the long term. If it werent windoz or if it werent a thing to restart the whole machine


    often, i would put the thing in one of the servers i have rights, minor favour, not like a


    complete new and good machine on the ISP.


    3200MHz
    20GB HDD (i think


    more is not needed)
    1-2GB RAM (2 gigs are better)
    and a very good i-net connection


    (better than adsl)



    oh and Baldwin.... to create such a server is a little bit


    more complicated coz there have to be regular backups, flstats, version changes, compatible

    server, T1 connection, 1 soon to be 2 GB ram, 3.2 processor, 120GB HDD...

    problem is well, i have pretty much no experience in running a server. if its not hard to


    learn, and i am a fast learner then i wouldnt have a problem running a server for


    SL-RB....
