Hi fellow Freelancers!
Long time FL player here returning. I played a bit of crossfire a few years ago (1.7 I think) on a different PC to this one, and I thought I would come back and play it a bit more. I installed Crossfire 1.9 exactly according to the instructions, Played a bit of single player then decided to update to the new launcher so I could give multiplayer a go. All well and good, updating perfectly, then I open the game via the multiplayer button, as the instructions told me to. I then close the game, and am now unable to get the new launcher to work -_-
I receive two error messages. The first one which appears instantly, and is this

Interestingly enough, if I click continue on the first error box, I do get the launcher to open like this.
I have done the mandatory reinstal/restart etc, simple trouble shooting. Then I moved to a few hours browsing other threads/googling. I have checked that I have Net Framework 3.5 (I also have 4.5)
However I still cannot get my crossfire to work 
Does anyone else know what could be causing this? I would greatly appreciate it, as I am really looking forward to getting back into the stars again
