Hi BlackWing
It might be possible that your CPU is not stable. Try test with LinX from extremesystems.com http://www.xtremesystems.org/f…-simple-Linpack-interface post #14

Its stable, I've checked it with Linx and IntelBurnTest on maximum, I have resolved the problem by installing freelancer with windows xp SP3 comparability and run as admin.
Same for CF1.9 and all is fine now. Thanks.:) -
Unusual, but, allright
Glad your issue is solved, now you can have fun !
See you in space

It might be down to the fact, I am running Window 7 64 bit ultimate.
-
Well, it worked perfectly on a Wind 7 x64 Home Edition laptop. And I don't remember somebody having compatibility issues with Win 7, but "Ultimate" version (a legit one) is also rare.
Anyway, good to know this possible issue, for the future cases.

no probs so far with ultimate 64 bit with me

Unless my modified AutoSave.fl save game file that I removed just incase was causing the problem, lol.><
