? Upcomming fighter ?

    Got a question on a fighter.
    In the attached pic are some fighters to see, that seem to be modelled after the alliance fighters to be seen
    in the Freelancer intro trailer.

    I wasn't able by now to find them anywhere to buy in CF.


    Do I have to search more or might they be available only later ... after release of CF 2.0 ?

    it is only used in some planet scenes together with a model of the coalition gunship from the intro

    They come from a game that's practically a clone of Freelancer. But it's only a little game without worth. The name is "Galaxy On Fire 2 full HD", and originally it was a game for ipad.
    Only the graphics is very good. (Better than in this picture 'cause I was forced to convert them in jpg).
    (Don't loose time to try it).

    They look COOL :bomg:
    Do you know what data format they're made in ?
    Perhaps there's a method to convert them.

    Yeesss !! That's the kind of designs I would to see in CF.
    (However these are complex desings that I guess are difficult to do by a small team)



    I'm not a computer expert, so I don't know how to understand the data format.
    I don't know if this is useful, however I tell you the formats in the folders :
    There's a folder "Bin" with "bin" format
    A folder "Assets" with "AEI" format
    A folder "Texture" with "AEI" format
    A folder "Shader" with "Fx" format.



    I also find a lot of CF designs too "strange", too "original" ..... I don't like the designs that develop vertically. My favourite are the Chimera and Warblade kinds.
    The desings that I posted can be a sort of ideal desings of those kinds.

    putting aside that i wouldnt use these ships due to copyright reasons they must be in the assets folder
    AEI seems to be a container -> probably a unity game

    Oh yes, there's the copyright problem. Seems to understand that there is anyway even if Crossfire is not profit purpose.


    .... However the only file formats I see in the assets folder are "AEI", "Lang", "FSB" and "AEM" files.


    Perhaps these designs, like others that I could show you, can be useful as inspirations, for new ones or restylings.
