Easiest way for people to do it right now, is using a seperat ship as sort of store. (remember not to overload those ships, so it wont damage the ID or char)
Dropping all unnecessary equipment in there (which is hard to obtain) and leaving it.
So whenever new equipment is needed, they simply ask some company for a transfer of the equipment.

I only want add that 'storage' char is best create as alone char on separate ID and have there max 100 unequipped items (safe is stay on 80-90). Items=equipment.
i never lose eq in combat! idea is OK
Idea is surely good. But we dont have to follow every good idea. The sence of the game is that its played. Its not a collection or collector game. If you loose something - play to get it again. Rises inter player action and with that possibilities for RP!
