Huor:
that was what I said. Just using other words.
And it will always be the teachers fault, if the students don't learn or loose motivation.
Why blaming oneself when its easier to blame someone else.
Has always been and will always be that way.Maybe when ppl get older their perspective grows as well.
-
Well Huor, I guess you never needed to go to school as you already knew how to teach yourself ?
(just kidding, you would be a kind of genius if you did this)
Maybe you expect today's 15-16yo boys are more mature than 30 years ago's 15-16yo boys, for having more stuff at school, knowledge and technology arround.
-
No not more mature, but they have more resources than 30 years ago. But todays boys are lazy and dont want to rush their asses to learn something.
I did learn at school, made homeworks, took some books to read about stuff i had to learn. At my times we were limited in the resources at school. Today you have worldwide encyclopedias, forums and so much more.
Nevertheless you still have to learn on yourself - its not the teacher that learns for you. And honestly in regards of languages its about learning vocabularies - what is a teacher there useful for - if not to give an impression about the sound of the language and eventually say something about phrases, gramatics and so on - what you would find on the internet today as well.Just put some time and efforts in learning if you are willed to learn. And dont expect others to teach you. Your life, its in your hands to make something out of it or leave it.
-
yeah. we didn't even have cell phones to call someone.
we did need to use snail mail to write other people and not email to get answers within minutes.
going to libraries (with real paper books) instead using computers to figure things. But Huor, I think today people blame others for their own lazyness, rather than pushing themself into the direction they want to be later on. Because it's more comfortable.
Poor human kind. -
heh, I don't know which are Cro's intentions to learn german, but you re right, they don't look high enough to want to study the language himself.

Every thread where the creator said it can/should/have to be closed, was closed, why not this time ?
Edit: As Huor edited his post after I made this reply: Now you remember that rule ? Ok then
-
some of you guys have way too much time.
Mind to use it for studying ??
Mind to spare people with comments, confirmation or "approval" on every post being made?
or the worse case
Mind to get some experience at a really exciting place?, called REAL LIFE (which most likely tends to happen outside any basements and child rooms)and now stop it please

I dedicate this re-make to you. At least our comments were less disturbing and less flaming than yours(that Cro is young and posted in here doesn't mean he don't exit his "child room", and the more mature ones from a "basement"), and it was already stopped before you came to become the center of attention, as usual...
@Cro, Mods can't close this thread
Only OP can.
