Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • Oddly enough, I was thinking about this very subject the other day.

Why would the smartest super-computer ever built by man, the first one to gain self awareness, build an advanced cyborg capable of mimicking any voice it samples and give it a default voice no one in North America could understand? I mean it's suppose to be this intellegent infiltration unit, right? So why not give it an American Accent? I'm absolutly positive that in the 20 or so years that Skynet had been capturing and expirementing on humans that it would have learnd this.

Maybe Skynet thought that any human that looked that big and muscular could only have come from Austria, that's my story and I'm sticking with it...

Trading is very competitive and you have to be able to handle getting your butt kicked.

  • Because every Sci-fi movie will end in American way, not to mention all these flags and signs, names and terms and many other things (hidden or not) all over the solar system and ofc..beyond!
Americanization all over the globe and known and unkown universe...and we had have enough!
Every foreign accent is more than welcomed, so bring it on!- you director^ ^

My vote goes for Terminator xy, with "strange accent ofc!
    8).

  • Movies made in
    America - sound american
    Spain - sound spanish
    Russia - sound russian
    China - sound chinese
    Germany - sound german

So where comes the idea from, that every SciFi Movie is going to end the american way and also spreaded with "americanisation"
In my opinion it depends on WHERE the movie has been made and WHO made it. If Americans made it, ofc its going to be "american". If Russians made it, its going to be "russian".
And if the accent of the actor's does not fit the original purpose then it will of course be "changed".
Even tho this barely digital (dot) com is making fun out of a lot of things. true or not doesnt matter, as long they get their "clicks" ;)
