Right I have just started playing crossfire SP and while i am extremely impressed I have one major concern. Just arrived at Kyoto, and apparently I have to get 10 million credits to level up :o now don't get me wrong, i get the higher level requirements because new ships n weps are much more expensive, but this is ridiculous, especially as i have just checked my rep and am hostile to nearly all house corps. I read on another thread that the best way to rack up cash is to kill xenos and sell em to the prison in manchester, which would be cool as Im still neutral to bretonian police/military but because of the hostility from the corporations i just kno that when i arrive with my payload i will find the station turns hostile aswell. please tell me there is an easy way to get around this or a sneaky way to make money!! would even be prepared to cheat at this point since its SP not server!!!!

Well, no cheating will be told in a thread, actually, there's no "direct" cheat for the SP game as well as in MP game, but you can edit your savefile and add the money at where "money ammount" or something like that appears, I don't remember the line exactly as I last edited one some years ago.
Though there's a normal way to do it, and very easy but tricky(better said, you have to run fast lol) if you find a way(gate) to exit the vanilla zone, you can go to the X-3043 system(main CF one) and then to the Death Valley to get a datadisk from the Ragnarok gunboat wreck over the nomad station. It's sold for 9 000 000 money at any station.
The way to arrive there, you have to search it yourself, in the forum or in-game

Death Valley is 1 system far from X3043, though I see it pretty impossible to find it without searching a CF map with that zone (as there are 3 different zones, aka Sectors, outside Sirius sector) on the forum or google, or maybe entering the spoiler section.(where I should move this thread soon, lol)

Found it! If i sell it will it affect the story? It tells me to head somewhere

That somewhere is right by where you came, yes you may sell it
But remember the info, as it leads to another datadisk/blackbox , and that one to another, and a group of them to a secret sector somewhere far... etc

Yeah now you only need 1 mill to get the 10 mills.
Actually, you can visit New York and get the wrecks in Badlands which have cardmine, a lot, but I remember they were only selling good at Manhattan, not rochester, so uhm, dunno.
There's some other datadisk that worths 9 million, but it takes less time trading 1 mill with a cargo of 20 than going until there for the disk, and returning, not counting surviving it... lol.

Why not join us online? It's not that difficult to meet people here, or get help to learn your way. The experience of MP can really open up your gaming experience for this mod.
