Prior to server reset, there were no warnings at all about "ION storm approaching" and then it crashed, Red connection problem appeared, but i was able to stay in game, though, i was not able to land anywhere... And now i can't connect to the server again... Anyone have the same problem?

Same here, I tried to log in right after server restart (7am my time) and the usual message (the requested action takes longer than expected) appears.
Already wrote OP a PM about it, since I could not explain it to myself (was able to connect just fine all the time before)
I even tried all my ID's (about 6 so far) and restarted the router, pc and also just the game. nothing helps -

when there was no warning, i tried typing /time but it didn't worked...

well I'm -7 GMT and its about 11:30 pm my time. and still nothing.

The server restarts on schedule every day on 06:00am GMT.
And since the last restart (today) connection problems appeared.
I just wonder why the server is still showing 2/128 (players)(checekd just now). How do they connect? -
When i looked last time, it was 4/128

Some of you know me as Harry_Dresden on the CF server. And yes just like you I can see the 2-4 people connected to the server. although since the morning I have been unable to connect to it...

Well since the server is down, you could go exploring the systems and look for powerful and shiny new ships.
I found a fairly decent ship earlier while doing this and I do believe it will be replacing my old love, the Saracen.*gAsP* Say what??? That's right, I found an alternative to the Saracen (And it isn't found in Altair thankfully). I still have a few ships left to find, however, so I'm not going to settle on this new ship just yet.
But getting back to the point, open up SP, and just go exploring. Come back in an hour or 6 and the server should be back up and running (or at least we should be able to access it by then).

Not really.
I worked in a delivering company the last years and I'm used to get up by 3am (GMT+1) every day. So Im still used to getting up early, even I dont have to. But well. what else to do when you cant sleep anymore? -
