so, some n00b kills Picard while he is afk and that n00b is CF's top gun then. right?

well as a cop i'd certainly like this blacklist idea for wanted criminals and use it in RP and not only as a "general event".

Working on the PvP stats would not be the best idea because ASF/CSF comes in the way, so does practice fights. But letting the Police clan leaders agree on a starting top 15 Blacklisted pirates based on who has been the worse jackass pirate till now would be nice. The goal for the pirates would be to earn the glory of being the "Most Wanted" (like in the NFS game ^^) by taking on their pirate rivals (next one in the BL) every week....

Each week, the blacklisted pirates would need to organize "agreed" duels between each rivals (the 15th vs the 14th, then the 14th vs the 13th.... the 2nd vs the 1st) and post the results on their RP forum section. Police would update their blacklist with the results of these duels. You win, you gain the spot , you die, you move down one place down the list. If a player doesnt show up during a week for defending his position, he loses his spot automatically (coward) and if he fails to participate another time he will be removed from the lsit to make the place for another rat...

In short, it's a great idea Cro !!!! (sorry i started proposing all the details :D)

it'll certainly make Sirius a less safer place to be and perhaps a pirates vs pirates clan war will start (you pirate clans seem to have dull moments sometimes :P).

Maybe Picard should dock first and then go afk, or ctrl-alt-del. The game is not for people going afk but for playing. If playing is the rule and other stuff the exception, I don't see what would be the problem with Cro's idea.

It would be a splendid idea if there would be a lawful and a lawless "black list". One could be simply called "Death-wish list" and target lawful players (or NPCs) and one "Sirius' Most Wanted list" that could target lawless players (and NPCs). The RP idea is cool but there would be some problems with it:

1. What do you use it for? How can you maintain the order in which each point on the "black list" has to come...as in CF you can engage anyone.
2. There would be considerable effort in managing this stuff.
3. What do you do when a player stops playig for a long time?
4. Some egos around this place are very big...even if in reality it's a small matter, it would still be a problem.

Other than that I cannot think of anything right now. Aside that, I think it's a good idea that if polished a little at the edges could prove an asset to CF...if it is met with constructive criticism and further developed...which is less likely to happen around here...

My only concern really is not to make this Out-of-RP... That's why the lawless/lawful cliche would be interesting to use as a base. CF has enough server events that take place outside RP. This concept is great and i vote to use it in the RP context.

it's your idea so i assumed you wanted to be in charge of the realization of this idea... From now on, you are the scripter/director of a movie and when your scenario will be ready, seek producers (clan leaders, GRs, OP) to publish your work

In the process you can hire script-assistants to help you determine the roles like you want them (StephanoV and me we seem to be interested :P)

• If you cannot challenge a rival AND defend your place during the week, you are ejected from the Blacklist and everyone behind you climbs up a place. The new #15 should be designated by the Police Alliance clan leaders.
• The weekly "duel" should be proven with /time output, agreement from the two players that this will count for their duel and the result (all in the same window screenshot)
• Winning a duel is only good if you defend your own place otherwise you slip down one position (see example further down).

Example :

Starting order :
#1 A
#2 B
#3 C

A has no one to challenge.
B challenges A and wins.
C challenges B and wins.

Results :
A failed, goes down a place (#2).
B won his challenge but failed to defend properly his place : goes down a place (#3)
C won his challenge against B moves up to 2 but since A also failed fail to defend his place, C become the Most Wanted (#1)

Defending is really the key because if you lose one duel, you don't know how much places you will lose...

That's highly competitive and hard to reign in this Most-Wanted contest but it will prove to be exciting !!!

I think it is good, but what if someone has some RL problems keeping them offline?

if he is better, he can retake his position later.

You can make event on sunday..

IF 15 of them come to event.. and anyways, half of best pvpers are inactive.
