  • Pardon me if this is impractical or impossible. I wonder if it is possible to make Freelancer be projected in such a way that when we look at it through 3D glasses it appears to be 3D and pop out of the screen. It would look really cool seeing Savage battleships shoot warsy straight at your face.

    This is just a suggestion.

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • When i saw the topic i said to myself : at last ! Using all 3 axis of space to place stuff around ! Wrong, that was not about that :(

But would it be cool to have stuff that would stand out of the common "plane" like we are used to ? Wrecks, secret stations, jump holes...

I played once a mod where the full 3d was used and there were stations above each other with 50K apart... Trade lanes in vertical position and the like....

You like the concept ? may be for a single nasty 1.9 new IC system !
