Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • Ok who has a submarine to go wee this from close, underwater ???

Anyone ? anyone ? sad i was hoping to see more of this lost city !!!

How the hell could it have been "sunk" .... Its not like the sea level raised and by being close to the coast it got submerged.... Its at 100 of miles for the coast ! Sea floor gotta be quite deep at this point... Could the whole tectonic plate supporting it might have gone down ??? I mean this would have brought the whole european plate with it.... But maps from antiquity are showing almost the same coasts of europe as now so the whole tectonic plate couldn't have sunk, otherwise it would be visible on the maps that a big territory has been eaten by the sea....

I saw a documentary once that was exploring the theory that Crete could have been Atlantis' location but that the city was destroyed by a tsunami (hence the sunk in water reference). I remember they found there many "advanced" technologies for antiquity : hot and cold water plumbing, sewer systems comparable to modern ones, defensive walls... All under a big mud/argile crust that old stil lmany secrets....

Anyway theories are vasts around this mystic city.... Here' the wiki page of Atlantis :

  • WoW! ... well, I do really believe that it existed. Who knows, some aliens could have visited Earth before,,, we are not alone in this huge Universe(that's for sure)

  • Yes, satellites draw tactical lines on the world, a camera when makes a photo creates cities at the right location as that city was known.

ROFL ! They still try to keep secrets on, even if they forgot it was a secret xD So eliminating that part wouldn't work anymore as it's already known... what better than "malfuction wops, the satellites don't know to hide confidential info" lol

There may be different versions of how that island dissapeared, but still on all of them it was known it had high technology(for those times, the other people were impressed ofc ^^ ), and they were even handling light, having mirrors... as it's spoken about light beams(maybe laser guns ? lol) The technology couldn't exit teh island, so all proof was destroyed for that time. Noone could scann the underseas by that time ^^

  • light beams ? lasers ? are you talking about Archimede's Death Ray ???? From Wikipedia Death Ray: Archimedes designed and deployed of a "burning mirror" (not quite a death ray in the modern sense); it may have had an adjustable focal length to track and set fire to ships in the Roman fleet as it invaded Syracuse. However, the earliest accounts of the battle did not mention a "burning mirror", only Archimedes' ingenuity combined with a way to 'hurl fire' were involved on the Syracusan side. A Byzantine writer hundreds of years later is suggested to have imagined this 2200-year-old death ray, which is attributed to Archimedes.[4]

  • hehe, more or less ^^ Still it (the technology of there) was something related with energy crystals or something... meh who knows.

The thing is that they are now immortal, as they are a legend :D And the information about them is from mouth-to-mouth for maaaany years :D
