Spoiling the game?

  • what do you think how ME3 will develop?
Big space battles? New characters? Another Normandy?
While the story from ME1 to ME2 suggested that you old buddies from part 1 got either busy doing their own life or finally re-joined your team (with the option that characters which died in ME1 did not re-appear with imported savegames) the upcoming ME3 (still a long time to wait) has to deal with the fact that in ME2 you (Shepard) and the entire team can die. Will that mean that none of the old companions will reappear in your ME3 team? At least its imaginable that this is the case and that like the in the previous games such characters only appear on side quests IF they have survived in Mass Effect 2.
Whats with Cerberus? How will the story start?.... Will Cerberus control the Collector station?
Mass Effect is a game that based on the MANY choices over the already existing two parts comes with a very high amount of different story paths. It for sure will be interesting to see how everything ends (in one or another way).[MSIE_newline_end ]

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • It wouldn`t wonder me if Cerberus would`ve cloned Shepard x-times over... Considering that they brought him back from the dead once.

Assumption is the mother of all fuckups.

Being a Cynic isn't that bad. Either I'm right or I am pleasantly surprised.

  • possible
but they avoided simple cloning so far to keep shepard as he is

  • nah I don't think that Cerberus wants to clone Shepard.... after all the old guy with his cigar (I suck at remembering names from games >_>) stated that there is only one person in the galaxy that can achieve defeating the Reavers... (ok thats not a strong argument)
but the questions is what would happen if he starts cloning Shepard?

Keep in mind that Shepard has a will of his own and was and is suspicious towards Cerberus.... imagine 10 Shepards, 5 of them start rebelling and the other 5 stay with Cerberus.......... EPIC PEW PEW BATTLES would ensue (ok they could somehow brainwash them but then again that goes against what the old guy with the cigar has in mind)
Imagine 10 4chans and they would start hacking each other.... that would be the END OF THE INTERNETS!!!!!

anyways whatever the storyline will be; it will be worth the money
lets just hope that they don't fuck up the ending

    oh and Shepard will die :( :( :( :(

  • ME1 and ME2 gave interesting possible options which make shepard "neccessary"

just alone that you initiate changes all over the citadel worlds and the terminus systems
im just thinking about a perfect way of playing it and a final confrontation with the reapers... i am really imagine that the first 2 parts of the game were just to initiate contacts, find allies and friends while the final part of the game mainly will be dealing with building up an army against the reapers in the same way you had to build up the normand against the collectors

you have the choice if shepard remains spectre or not... assuming the decision is to stay spectre your word at least has a say for the citadel council... which means that for the final fight you might have the assistance of the turians, the asari and the salarians (if they list this time)
since humans joined the council and since shepard is still part of the alliance (more or less)
either kaidan or ashley (depending on who survived ME1) might help with the alliance
that were at least 4 fleets

then there is still cerberus... eventhough the methods are questionable im sure that cerberus will play a big role again, either by assisting the alliance or by offering other important services (maybe even based on the captured collector base, if that decision was choosen)

if wrex does survice ME1 then he will try to unite the krogans and together with grunt this might even work... so shepard might convince the united krogans to fight aswell (and afterall they are pretty tough ground warriors)

then shepard still has a hidden friend (if in ME1 you decide for that option) -> the rachni queen
its possible that in ME3 the rachni re-appear to help (another pretty tough ground warriors)
afterall shepard got a message from the rachni in ME2 telling him that he and what he did is not forgotten

Legion joined shepard and reveils that the geth are actually not hostile and that they would like to fight the reapers
thats another very worthy ally with high numbers and good technology

the quarians also appear to be one of the most important possible allies as they have the biggest fleet (more than 50.000 ships)
i assume (based on the ME2 story) that they play a much bigger role in ME3 and that you might end the war between quarians and geth (in one or another way)
however i can imagine that with tali and legion a first step into peace would be possible and that the quarians might return to their homeworld

ME2 also introduced the option to help batarians and showed that they are not neccessary cold hearted terrorists... maybe they can also play a minor role during the upcoming war aswell as other minor races could do

I really believe that ME3 is mainly about using the "resources" of the previous parts to create an army, otherwise the reapers cant be stopped
and just like the ME2 end battle all previous decisions will have an influence on how good that final battle will run

ok, I hear about 4chan in any game, even online mmorpgs... I know a bit about him, but who the fvck is him ??

1 opinion of few members is enough ^^
