  • I reccomend just looking as just asking is no way to find new places, exploration is the key! :D

    Just have fun exploring :D

  • GrandAndreasK, I'd second KhohnJao's advice, however, I'll give you some pointers in the Altair sector...

My best piece of advice is to take a fast, manuverable ship as a "scout" and explore the entire Altair sector as best you can. This is so you can dodge all the Dom K'vash and massive numbers of Nomads you'll encounter in the Altair sector.

In most cases with the Nomads in high numbers or even most Dom K'vash, I'd recommend cruising out of their way if you come across them. I have been able to tackle an entire wing of some 8-10 Nomads by myself and even two Dom K'vash Gunboats on a rare occassion. However, anything more than that and you just asking to get blown out of the sky unless you're in a battleship like the Osiris. Your first priority is to survive and map, suicide missions can come later IMHO. :D

If you think you're skilled enough, try to find some black boxes in the Dom K'vash systems, albiet they are very difficult to get to and getting back to Coalition space with them in one piece is even harder. If you do find all three, you'll find the ultimate secret of the Dom K'vash anyway. (and God help you then haha! You'll see what I mean...)

In the Coalition controlled space of the Altair sector, you are relatively safe due to the Coalition patrols. However you will most likely still come across lone DK Gunboats occassionally, which have incredible forward fixed firepower and are slow moving/turning. Use these facts to your advantage(again a nimble ship is the key here, save the massive armor and firepower of a capital ship) and always keep an eye out on your radar for them in Coalition space.

If you happen to catch me on the server sometime, feel free to hit me up and I'll show you the ropes out there and maybe give you a free tour, if time permits. Good journey, take care and I'll see you out in space dewd. 8)
