I ban Mike 'cos, won't also recommend the Ciaphas Cain series to you. It contains too much Imperial Guard for your taste, albeit with such a phenomenon as a reasonable commissar. It's also one of the less grimdark WH40K books.

I ban Ajay cus, sry but FRAK BOOKS

Make it an animation, serie, movie, game, or such, and it'll work out. -
I ban Mike for disrespect of books... for a Mr. Tango Sierra it's a double heresy.
And I don't think there ever will be any good WH40K serie or a film. Even about CCC. So I'll stick to a honest PDF file. -
I ban you cus I disrespect paper stuff. Digital editions are OK. If this was 50 years ago I'd think in another way about them, but atm... no @ paper out of trees.
-
I ban Mike 'cos ditto here, using my tablet PC and PDF files. Like I could really find WH40K books in nearby stores.
-
I ban you cus, right, a tablet is also smaller than a book (less weight, etc, even if the screen is bigger), more comfortable, you don't need the lights open in the room to read it, you don't get your hands dirty with paper and sweat (bad mix), you don't get your skin irritated by paper (at least I don't like paper mentally and physically lol), and it doesn't rust, etc.
-
I ban Mike 'cos, it also has other functions, including Internet connection and capability to edit text files (Some parts of latest Ajay's Story chapters were written on it), etc.
But it still has energy dependency of some sort, though it's only a minor drawback. -
I ban you cus energy dependency is good to force you to take a few minutes break each hour or two, just how the health institutions say, "Take at least a break each 2 hours from the PC/TV/anything with a screen."
-
I ban Mike 'cos, that's yet another drawback.
And I only breaks I have with my PC is only long enough to get up, fill a cup with yet another portion of tea and get back. -
I ban you for seeing drawbacks

-
I ban Mike 'cos, it's sometimes necessary.
Also, your dislike towards tanks remind me of this:
And you really can outfit Carron with a box-wrecking gun (i.e. melta)... Thinking how the flak can he hold a melta in his one hand, when the melta is a very heavy thing... well, he's a Chaos Lord, and thus he's a superhuman.
-
I ban you cus, chaos junk.
-
I ban Mike 'cos, agree as Chaos equipment is mostly pre-heresy (which was 10K years ago), so yep, junk indeed. It's daemonic junk though, so it sometimes works even better.
For example, Chaos Obliterators, which look like walking piles of junk growing from horribly disfigured hulk of flesh. But... that junk growing from their bodies? It's actually armor and working guns with endless supply of ammo that grows from them. Even moreover, an Obliterator can morph its (his, actually, as it's still a person) currently active weapon into a weapon that is required. Infantry? Assault cannons (i.e. Gatling gun). Heavy infantry? Plasmaguns. Tanks? Lascannons. Seemingly junk unit has only two drawbacks, and those are just being slow (Compensated by the teleporters upgrade and ability to deepstrike them) and limited to only one squad. I have noted them for being good in defense since Chaos Stronghold mission as Imperial Guard. -
bleh, as I said, junk, I ban you for saying otherwise. Armor ? Infinite bullets that are his flesh ? (well, they do need some energy to grow that from, flesh doesn't grow out of nowhere, you know...) all junk. Little gun, laser with "infinite bullets", just that energy tanks can store more energy than some ball of flesh. Cus that junk in two in a slash, if it was realistic, metal doesn't stop it hence even our own little laser defence beam IRL can pass through 4m of steel, or something like that, measured in meters.
-
I ban Mike for not seeing this:
Quoteso yep, junk indeed
Quotefor saying otherwise
Also:
Quoteif it was realistic
It's WH40K, and it's Chaos forces in WH40K.QuoteArmor ? Infinite bullets that are his flesh ?
Won't be copypasting the entire article to explain how it is meant to work in WH40K.QuoteLittle gun, laser with "infinite bullets"
That "little" gun is a tank-grade gatling, and that laser is the thing that is capable of putting down Leman Russes (Baneblades if lucky) for good, just likeQuotelaser defence beam IRL can pass through 4m of steel
Sounds like Lascannons, alright. It is one of the best AT-grade weaponry on the tabletop, and the best (probably) in DoW where meltas/DE Dark Lances don't do lot against infantry, unless in Carron's hands (Those blue beams some Sisters of Battle use as AT are supposed to be multimeltas). -
I ban you cus idc about articles, disgusting topics like that flesh stuff are outdated.
-
I ban Mike 'cos new codex edition brought up Mutilators (same as them, but specialized for close combat), so nope, it's up to date.
Also, disgusting? Thank the fate that all the chaos lords in DoW were either Khornates or Undivided, 'cos Tzeentchites and Slaaneshites would have tentacles all over, while Nurglites...
Those new codexes though... New-crons, Mary Sue Grey Knights that once killed the whole monastery of Sisters of Battle and used their blood as an armor paint in order to increase anti-daemonic protection, poor Bolter B*tches get butchered almost each battle at all, Ultramarine chapter master killed the Avatar one on one in close combat... ask Matt Ward for the explanation. -
I ban you cus that's just storyline BS, you know it.
-
I ban Mike 'cos, why don't you like Soulstorm then if it doesn't have any of this "storyline BS"?
-
I ban Ajay, becuase i get more and more angry from the problem with the slow loading of the site
Some day i will get so angry that i will delete myself from here and then i will not gonna worry anymore that it can't load becuase i will not have a reason to be here.
