As for thinking that mom is going to throw me out of house - she has absolutely no reasons for that, as this way she loses someone who can help her around the house/countryside. Add the fact that she's relatively old.
Plus, it's not like her to throw her own son outta house. She considered for my sister to live with her too even after she reached 18 (my sis didn't though, she found a boyfriend, married him and lives in village now).

I ban Mike because "she didn't" was related to "live with mother and brother (i.e. me)" not to "reach 18" so relax.
There was considerable amount of time between she reached 18 and got boyfriend. I don't remember, my age was kinda 6-10, I even didn't attended the school.
EDIT: She reached 18 even before. I remember (albeit hardly) her attending university and graduating from it, and it was before me getting to school. All the time she was studying, she lived with us.

I ban Mike because I've attended the school when I was 7. But my memory gives up when I try to figure out whether I was going to school or I wasn't by those time, so screw it.
