Is anyone in charge of events?

No there is no one in charge yet.
Would be nice if anyone would volunteer

and I played CF for only 3-4 years , there will be someone in charge in the future of course^^(you just have to pick him)^^

The good person for this is if he's good in controling the stuff.^^

Black Arrow: I don't know what Wavey was doing, to be honest. But I know what I'd expect an event manager manager to do.

So here's my job description:
- Make sure that there's a manager for every event (hardest part of the job)
- Coordinate the events (juggling dates and such things)
- Make sure that the right people have the necessary equipment at the right location (like having miners where asault event is supposed to take place)
- Keep the communication with SP/Leaders/OP running.
- Help to solve problems if there are some.
- Step in with running an event if the assigned EM can't hold it. Or even better: Make that EM look for a substitute himself.

And a personal fave: Find a way to shower EMs in tons of credits so I don't have to do trade runs just to feed greedy and needy folks every Monday.

That last one is optional, tho.

Looks more than it actually is. Once the EMs are found and settled in it all should more or less be running itself. Provided they're the right persons for managing an event, of course.

And wrong too: The perfect person wouldn't have to control the stuff but make sure he has the right EMs so events would run smoothly without much need for control.
