    I could do #2 or #3 (since I need/want to install CF anyways :P but for #3 - I don't have Vista, but 7, which works better with FL.)

    Bump noticed. So I am willing to find sometime to chat with you and then ill compile a massive thread which you can sticky for 1.8 on its release or also as 1.7. I have had allot of different problematic encounters with CF that I have solved in the end and this request would mostly be collecting data from previous threads imo.

    I have vista 64-bit. But I didn't have to do anything special to get it to work correctly...


    Edit: After trying to break it I found out that the main thing that needs to be done to make it work is disable IPv6. I'm not running in compatibility mode, freelancer has been added to the firewall list, and I have AVG free.


    My what a lovely shade of red you are, looks like someone got too close to that black hole...

    I don't know if I need to be a certain level to make a sticky thread, but I could do the Vista thread. I had to do a lot to get Crossfire 1.7 to work.
