SWAT Sci Fi games

    while most of the forum changes are done... or need to be done later I will work on CF again



    while i do this I want that this community does work for this community so i can do neccessary changes once CF is done


    I need people which collect information about scifi games and write articles that we can add to SWAT main site
    we need every info we can get... gameplay, ship stats, system requirements, pics, reviews, walkthroughs... just everything


    I will create a new forum board for this purpose in the next few days
    One thread for one game... only post information there... no discussions... no crossthreading
    just the information needed to build new SWAT sections

    The problem for me is that OP would like some original material rather than links and stuff -


    That is a proper and decent request that takes time - and even though I have tried to do some original tips stuff for EVE - it takes a lot of time - and I am afraid I just cant spare that these days.


    The last few months or so I have spent more time online in CF than in EVE - and that my friends - is just bigger than zero spare time.


    If it is an open request I will try and contribute - but I cant at the moment.

    I think once the part are opend and i have time and joy i will see what i can do to fill it with content. That should apply to some others as well ;)

    I have been very challenged as of late when it comes to time. There has not been enough to visit the server to play CF more than about nine days out of each month, and I've even fallen behind on the writing I do off on the side for ASF-CSF conflicts. Looking at the list of games you've listed though there are a few that I've played before, and amongst those I can either provide information based on my own experience or through second-hand sources that would be easy to track down. Games I know that I'll be able to provide at least something useful for are (in order of my experience with them):


    1. Wing Commander III
    2. Descent II
    3. Wing Commander IV
    4. Tachyon: The Fringe


    I've got work to finish for my college courses first, but this weekend I will likely have a fair bit of free time on my hands. If a bit of a delay is acceptable, I will try to compile as thorough a description for each of these as possible. That having been said, I can only provide assistance in terms of the information being provided in text. I do not have original screenshots to provide, nor any knowledge in how one would take the information and incorporate it into a website. Hope this will still help though, OP. ^^

    would be cool if it would be in such categories like we have on the SWAT main site with pics included

    Just give me the names of those games and I will find the topics with them and I will try to find the info later tonight or tommorrow(probably tomorrow)^^

    You need to find any kind of info for specified games, I was ensigned to find info for 3 games. so I did...if you want to help too, ask OP to give you 3 games(or more^^) and then find some info for them and put it into the Game Thread^^

    the 3 games limit was not an invitation to stop ^^
