Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • don't tell me i'm Navy too 8o
that would really hurt my pride ;)

  • ok.. since it is with the navy thingy.. this explains much things :)

im proud to be hostile with the navy.. it gives a little more action.. the disadvantage is, that i cant dock at any navy owned stations or planet anymore, till i fixed the repu

any suggestions, how to get better in reputation with the interspace commerce?

btw, corsairs and outcasts are green. since they are in relation with the lane hackers (which are red to me already) i dont wanna kill them, they have too much influence to other factions, which i dont wanna mess up either..

half of my peeps are messed up already.. and i cant get neutral with the DK's which is really bad :(

Delete your character, make a new one ..and get the Junkers bribe^^

  • I cannot confirm this with my own characters, but I have been told that FL assigns the faction affiliation displayed on the target reticle based on the last faction for which you did a mission, but IMO, it is the faction which your character is most friendly with. Most frequently, this turns out to be the Liberty Navy, because most players want to be able to dock as many bases as possible, and manage their rep's accordingly. The reticle of other players will display the color appropriate to the relations between players' most friendly factions.

A true pirate would prey on House authorities and corporations, not just other players, so it would then be natural to be hostile in the majority of systems. Just click on any faction in your reputation display to see what factions are its friends & enemies, and you will know how to neutralize your rep. 8)

  • the funny thing about is.. do i fix one of them, it messes up 2 others.. cause the friends of those one im going to fix, are happy about.. but the friends of those faction im going to kill, in order to fix, are not really amused about that either.. so its not this simple like, just look it up and then to see who to kill to fix that .. but anyway.. without enemies, it wouldnt be this funny :D

  • I've taken great steps with older characters to get proper rep for my role. I think there is only a limited number of factions it will allow you to be "alligned" with in the targeting info display. There are times when my ships will have done missions for a different faction and none of the naval factions are closest to maximum with me, and yet I am still labeled as "navy." Quite strange. Best way to rearrange rep by the way is to kill depots. My new set of ships need to take care of that soon so that the right factions hate my guts. >.>

STC, and freelancers. Ashes to ashes, alas? D:

  • Somehow the Navy gets more bribing points i have it on my RP Character too, cant get the Bounty Hunter Tag - because Missions for the Bounty Hunters will also bribe the Mitlitary Factions.

Interspace Commerce can not be bribed in Vanilla Freelancer for sure but maybe it´s possible in the CF Systems.

Try to bribe them in a CF Basees/Planetes where the Owners are: Synth Food, Cryer , Naval Forces, BAF, Military, Gateway, all Police Factions except LPI or themself of course. Bribe Value is not high, put possible. A first guess of mine would be WoS.
