- however I shall try my best to get cf1.7 running.....I have ordered a new Hard drive sooo once i have that I will have a CLEAN install of windows then I shall have a clean download of 1.7 and get em running asap. I wants to get pew pewing badly!!

So, OP, from what I understand, there are not many things left to be done in CF1.8. Am I right?
I also am going to order a new HDD, in fact, one more. I have one of 180 GB now but I need more space, + a few more partitions especially one for Seven

helpful hint for the download of CF
once downloaded, install it, if done properly, test it to see if there is corruption, if there is
download again intill it works, once you have a working download (moddb seems to be the most
corrupt free for NZ) burn it to a CD or for 1.8 a DVD! lol then you wont have to download it again.simple:D

How about we place a checksum value (like MD5) for each file - that way everyone could verify if their download is un-corrupted

and not necessary - it would be enough to have one CRC for the zipped download package. If the check sum would be different then you probably have lost data

No i didnt - i thought you meant BETA - but that was not the case - so thanks for clearing it.
BTW There is no release date - as this is no official firm here and most - no all - was done in spare time of the developers. Until its finished its still in development. When OP knows any date he will announce it. Thats for sure.So be patient like 1000 others are too.

Wow! awsome:D well for me, my goal is to design a game that will be remembered as the most
intense everything sim ever iv also got some secret goals on how to take it on!;)
but... if i finish it (2 years aprox) and if it gets built (+4 to 8 years), you might see a world first!
