ASF V CSF & Freelancers

There were some specific details on how to join ASF or CSF if memory serves if it's for a freelancer. So I can answer your first question: no you don't need to join a faction/clan. And I think that the "Battle royale" won't start until 00:00 on 25th of August 2008.

Sev you have a few Hours left to equip an ASF or a CSF Licence. It must be mounted before the server time will show up 00:00 o clock.

Every Server Police can help you to get a Licence but you have to wear it until the event stopped in a week you are not allowed to switch to another Licence.

ASF/CSF is not just a battle dude - it´s a week lasting war where you have to fight when called or ambushed, all the time! The Price you earn will be Death, Glory and Honor - and you need some credits for your Ammo ^^.

Normaly all of your characters together have to be 100 Hours online to join a faction.

Fight, fight, fight or die... Yea, mate, it`s a real fighting of ASF vs CSF all the time... and they`re meeting every last week of month for winning or death... Daywalker have a reason-it`s not pvp only it`s something bigger... He is a good pilot and a good man, who teach me to fight... And believe me- ASF/CSF week MORE fun than simple pvp:)

Actually, payment is optional, and sometimes a good policy, if a freelancer has enough talent to be of interest to both sides. In this case, the freelancer might side with the highest bidder.
