Alliance name choice thread

    I need some help here.


    You see, I need new names for the alliances in FL:EU, but I can't use the names Alliance and Coalition to prevent confusion.


    One alliance is Gallia, Liberty and Amazonia, and the other is Rheinland, Kusari and Praetoria. The actual name for both is Freedom League and Sirius Union, in that order. However, Freedom League isn't a nice name btw and I need to change it. Any oppinions?

    It would help to know the origins/character/location of each House; I assume Liberty is unchanged in makeup from the original. Of course, one would assume that these Houses have some marked commonalities, so it could be called something like "Alta Nobilis" or "Columbia Federation" or some such...

    Gallia = France. Sirius localization: between Sigma, northern and eastern Independent Worlds, Amazonia and Liberty.
    Amazonia = Brazil = South of the Edge Nebula
    Liberty = US = Center of Sirius


    Yep, Liberty is unchanged (just some damaged and blown Jump Gates, Trade Lanes, etc. :P ).

    How about, "Bolivar Protectorate" or "Tripartite Eldorado"... :D I'm sure you'll come up with something of a fusion of the three powers' affectations!

    no... think more around WWII. Germany and Japan were united nations? Or UK and US, or even US and USSR. No. They were just war allies, helping each other in many ways, but still with their governments.
